Israeli filmmaker, Maya Zinshtein's documentary Til Kingdom Come examines the unique relationship between evangelical Christians in America and the state of Israel. As Israel lies in a constant state of struggle between the Jews and Arabs, evangelical Christians pray for the restoration of the Holy Land to the Jewish people.
With a steadfast belief in the Second Coming of Christ, evangelical political powers have become heavily involved in shaping American foreign policy towards Israel and the Middle East. With unparalleled access, the film delves into the relationship between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the controversial decision to move the United States Embassy to Jerusalem, and plans to annex the West Bank.
Evangelical Christians cite these events as a necessary step toward the coming apocalypse because they believe that the Jewish people’s establishment in the Holy Land is essential to God’s plan for the End-Times. The film takes a deep dive into the unusual bond between these bedfellows and the entanglement of politics and religion. We Hold These Truths explains and challenges the beliefs of what is known as Christian Zionism in our award-winning film, Christian Zionism: The Tragedy & The Turning: Part I.
Recently, the US Supreme Court overturned the Roe v. Wade case of 1973 that allowed abortions. Now, the decision on this issue will go back to the states. Before Chuck Carlson founded We Hold These Truths in 1996, he and his wife were active in the pro-life movement. When We Hold These Truths started challenging "Christian Zionist" or War-Willing" churches in 2002, one of the earliest signs that we carried at those vigils was "Chose Life, Not War!" While evangelical church members typically oppose abortion, large numbers of them enthusiastically support the serial wars of the US for patriotic reasons. In this 2004 message, "Abortion: A Kingdom of God Approach" by Pastor Greg Boyd of Woodland Hills Church in St. Paul, MN the issue of abortion is addressed that can be seen in a new light in 2022. This was the third of five messages in a series entitled "The Cross and The Sword". It was about how many Christians have welded the cross to the sword. As citizens of the United States of America, the state wheels the sword while Christians are supposed to be under the authority of Jesus Christ. As a result of this series of messages, about 20% of the 5000 congregants in Boyd's church left because they couldn't handle the message. CNN did an excellent report on this in a 7-minute segment titled "God's Warriors"

It's been over 20 years since Chuck Carlson of We Hold These Truths went alone into the Gaza strip. In this video presentation made in February of 2003, Chuck eloquently describes his findings at an AFP Forum in Mesa, Arizona. Conditions have gotten much worse since his visit. The newly reelected Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has pledged to make conditions for Palestinians much worse by expanding the illegal settlements. His recent Tweet tells it all.
Dr. Vladimir Zelenko was an Orthodox Jewish MD from Monroe, NY who had successfully treated over 6,000 patients infected with Covid-19, using early treatment protocols that he developed. This remarkable 24 min. video is a tribute to Dr. Zelenko and includes an overview of a presentation on the dangers of the experimental COVID-19 "vaccines" that he made to a rabbinical court in Jerusalem. Unfortunately, Dr. Zelenko's warnings fell on deaf ears due to the blinding of countries around the world by the WHO (World Health Organization). Israel has one of the highest COVID-19 "vaccine" rates in the world. Sadly, Dr. Zelenko passed away from cancer on June 30, 2022 (see: Here). An example of the dangers of the"vaccines" that Dr. Zelenkoo warned against is examined in this article, "Israel Was Caught Concealing Children’s Vaccine Injuries".
Over the past few years, Israel's ongoing military occupation of Palestinian territory and repeated invasions of the Gaza strip have triggered a fierce backlash against Israeli policies virtually everywhere in the world -- except the United States. The Occupation of the American Mind takes an eye-opening look at this critical exception, zeroing in on pro-Israel public relations efforts within the U.S. Narrated by Roger Waters and featuring leading observers of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and U.S. media culture, the film explores how the Israeli government, the U.S. government, and the pro-Israel lobby have joined forces, often with very different motives, to shape American media coverage of the conflict in Israel's favor. From the U.S.-based public relations campaigns that emerged in the 1980s to today, the film provides a sweeping analysis of Israel's decades-long battle for the hearts, minds, and tax dollars of the American people in the face of widening international condemnation of its increasingly right-wing policies. Narrated by Roger Waters / Featuring Amira Hass, M.J. Rosenberg, Stephen M. Walt, Noam Chomsky, Rula Jebreal, Henry Siegman, Rashid Khalidi, Rami Khouri, Yousef Munayyer, Norman Finkelstein, Max Blumenthal, Phyllis Bennis, Norman Solomon, Mark Crispin Miller, Peter Hart, and Sut Jhally.
We Hold These Truths joined with the Arizona State University chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) to observe the 74th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba (Arabic for “catastrophe”) that occurred in 1948 when over 750,000 Palestinians were forced from their homes and over 450 of their villages were destroyed by the Zionists in their drive to establish the modern state of Israel. The Nakba continues today under the Israeli occupation designed effectively to expel or kill as many Palestinians as “legally” possible. The latest example of this was the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, a Palestinian Christian, by an Israeli sniper. Tom Compton of WHTT reports on the Nakba 74 rally and how millions of evangelical Christians are oblivious to the plight of the "Living Stones" in Israel.
We Hold These Truths was founded by Chuck Carlson in 1996. In this podcast, Tom Compton, one of the founding directors, speaks with Dr. Kevin Barrett, who is a practicing Muslim, on his program, Truth Jihad Radio. Tom discusses WHTT's mission and its history of activism to challenge the idol worship of the modern state of Israel by tens of millions of Christian Zionists.
Sometimes it feels hopeless to challenge what our government does in the name of "helping" us. Members of the Plant-Powered People of AZ (PPPofAZ) advocate plant-based, whole food diets that avoid unhealthy foods. For example, Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) are not safe despite the approval given by the FDA. Seven of us from the PPPofAZ went to hear Derrick Broze of The Conscious Resistance speak during his Activation Tour stop in Showlow, AZ. Derrick spoke on a wide range of topics in his thought-provoking presentation including the Freedom Cell Network, which he helped to create.
Freedom Cells are peer-to-peer groups organizing themselves in a decentralized manner with the collective goal of asserting the sovereignty of group members through peaceful resistance and the creation of alternative institutions. The PPPofAZ is a member of the Freedom Cell Network.
If you're an independent thinker and an activist, you'll want to listen to Derrick's powerful presentation even if you don't like what the PPPofAZ eat. Remember, Freedom Isn't Free! [Note: this podcast was posted to our freedom-loving friends at We Hold These Truths' Podbean site.]
Our friend and brother in Christ, Palestinian Pastor Jamal Bishara, of the First Arabic Baptist Church of Phoenix, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 24, 2021. This sermon was the last one he preached as a guest at Apollo Baptist Church in Glendale, Arizona on March 7, 2021. At his memorial, this extended sermon was described this way by one new member of the church to the senior pastor: "When you preach, you preach a chapter. When Pastor Jamal preached, he preached the whole Bible." This is truly an inspiring sermon. For more posts featuring Pastor Jamal, click HERE.
