According to David Friedman, U.S. Ambassador to Israel, the state of Israel is on the side of God, as reported in the New York Times article, "U.S. Ambassador Says Israel Is ‘on the Side of God’." In this report by Tom Compton of We Hold These Truths at an al-Quds (Jerusalem) rally to support Palestine, held in Tempe Arizona, Ambassador Friedman's notion is challenged with a provocative question. Craig Hanson of WHTT biblically answers the more important question “Which Side of God Is Israel On?”

Craig Hanson and members of We Hold These Truths dissect the events and speakers at the recently held Christians United For Israel 14th annual summit in Washington, DC. In reality, it was a political rally for Israel and a call for war on Iran. Once again, Jesus was ignored, for the most part, during the proceedings. A cavalcade of Christian Zionist politicians, including VP Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, spoke to some 5,000 attendees at the summit. Christians United For Israel, during their 14th annual summit on July 7-8, 2019, were challenged by the campaign, "Rise Against Racism: Counter CUFI." The campaign was sponsored by Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA) and joined by Jewish Voice For Peace, American Muslims for Palestine, US Campaign for Palestinian Rights. It was endorsed by more than 30 organizations. We Hold These Truths challenged CUFI at its second annual summit in 2007 and endorsed FOSNA's current campaign. CUFI's leader, John Hagee, boasts of being a Christian Zionist and revealed his political version of Christianity at the CUFI summit by inviting prominent Christian Zionist politicians that included VP Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and National Security Advisor John Bolton. In this on the ground report by Mark Bebawi on Arab Voices Radio, Tarek Abuata, executive director of FOSNA and other campaign members are interviewed along with comments by two CUFI attendees. This is a remarkable 50-minute program that exposes the "Christian Zionist/Political Complex."

Tarek Abuata is Executive Director of Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA), a nonprofit, predominantly Christian organization that gives its objective as seeking justice and peace in the Holy Land. Abuata talks on Arab Voices Radio in Houston, TX, about the dangers of Christian Zionism and FOSNA's campaign, "Rise Against Racism: Counter CUFI" (Christians United For Israel). The campaign is headed by Friends of Sabeel North America, Jewish Voice for Peace, American Muslims for Palestine, US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, and more than 30 organizations, including We Hold These Truths. Tarek Abuata was born into a Palestinian Christian family in Bethlehem, and moved to Texas when he was 12. FOSNA's parent organization is Sabeel, an international peace movement initiated by Palestinian Christians.

In this remarkable, 61 minute video, Pastor Chuck Baldwin is interviewed by Steven Ben-Nun of Israeli News Live about his journey out of a deep seated and three decades long belief that the modern state of Israel is the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. What's remarkable about this interview is that Steven Ben-Nun is a Messianic (Jewish) Christian who had been under the influence of Zionism, himself. The large majority of Messianic Christians are fervent Christian Zionists. We Hold These Truths has, also, interviewed Pastor Baldwin in our podcast, "Pastor Dr. Chuck Baldwin Rejects Christian Zionism."

When We Hold These Truths started challenging Israel supporting churches in 2002, the term "Christian Zionism" was not in use. Today, there are more groups like FOSNA (Friends Of Sabeel North America), TruNews and a growing number of mainline Christians that are challenging Christian Zionism. In this 19 minute podcast, Chuck Carlson and members of WHTT discuss some of the latest developments of the "Turning" [from Christian Zionism] that we described in our 2010 documentary, "Christian Zionism: The Tragedy & The Turning, Part I."

Photographer Grace Cheung-Schulman recently returned from the Holy Land on a trip sponsored by American Friends of Combatants For Peace. In 2006, Israeli and Palestinian former combatants, people who had taken an active role in the conflict, laid down their weapons and established Combatants for Peace. The egalitarian, bi-national, grassroots organization was founded on the belief that the cycle of violence can only be broken when Israelis and Palestinians join forces. Committed to joint nonviolence since its inception, CFP works to both transform and resolve the conflict by ending the Israeli occupation and all forms of violence between the two sides and building a peaceful future for both peoples. The photos Grace took graphically tell a story that is virtually unknown to evangelical Christians, but is becoming more familiar and embraced by mainline Christians. Craig Hanson of We Hold These Truths was present at the mainline church where Grace's extraordinary slide show was given and discusses the significance of this in this 21 minute podcast. Grace, more than likely, would not be invited to an evangelical church because her slide show exposes the reality of the Israeli occupation of Palestine. We say, “Open, Bethlehem!” Sure, tourists can still enter Bethlehem from Jerusalem by transiting the wall and checkpoint that separates Israel from occupied Palestine. Most of the Christians visiting the Holy Land have been conditioned to fear and mistrust Palestinians, even Palestinian Christians. Typically, a tour bus drops the pilgrims off at one of the “dead stones” sites in the Holy Land, like the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Rarely, do these pilgrims get to interact with the local, Palestinian Christians, the “living stones,” to hear the other side of the story. Palestinian, Leila Sansour, documents how her home town, Bethlehem, is being walled in. In this 33 minute, abridged version of her compelling documentary, “Open, Bethlehem” you will learn what is happening to the birthplace of Jesus. "One Day In Gaza" is a BBC documentary that has been shown in the UK, but was cancelled by PBS in the US. It was scheduled to air on May 14, 2019, the anniversary of the "Gaza March of Return" massacre, that occurred one year earlier. Sixty Palestinians in Gaza were killed and On May 14,, 2018, the same day as the dedication of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. This documentary shows both sides of what took place but there is too much damning documentation about Israel's action's that Israeli partisans don't want Americans to know about. The contention of the WHTT podcast, "Does Israel Have a Shoot to Cripple & Maim Policy Against Palestinians?" by Chuck Carlsono, is confirmed by "One Day In Gaza."
