Attention Cadets! This week in SPACE CAMP we are headed straight for the declassified. Time to be more disillusioned with America or more onboard with the government’s hands in space exploration and the documenting of UFOs? I guess we’ll be the judges.  

We’reeeee baaaaackkkk! Welcome Cadets to SZN SEVEN! We’re starting this season off with a bang (and a new opening reel!) and heading straight to SPACE CAMP! Prep those blue jumpsuits as we launch ourselves this week straight into Jaimi’s once teased “biggest conspiracy about the moon…” We’re talking all about the space race, things that are fundamentally wrong with NASA, and of course Stanley Kubrick. So get ready for take off… we’re spending all month off this planet and out of this world.

We’re back to consulting the stars, as we let you know exactly what August has in store. Who is set to have the best month ever, and who is gearing up for the worst!

On this month’s FUPDATE, we’re thinking about the feelings and sensations we missed in 2020 while we were at home. We’re talking the visceral differences between how we respond to recorded and live music and yes— how it feels to smell people and the world again. Let’s get to it!

We’ll get into the pitfalls of assuming folks are straight until proven gay and how a system to combat that seemed to actually prove everyone must be a lesbian. Because, listen, because the male gaze has messed up plenty of us. When systems are exclusively binary space isn’t made for everybody. We’ll get into it…

This week on the podcast, we’re digging into these work partnerships that keep getting likened to marriages. Is it a compliment to be called someone’s “work wife” or is it diminutive? Or even a few steps further, is this a form of cheating when folks are already in a committed relationship? We’ll get into all of it— our own experiences with close colleagues and the times other folks’ working relationships gave us pause. So, what’s the deal— are you headed to the chapel with your work buddy? Or are you honestly asking if we can just stop making work weird...?
