Jazmyne McCrae is a high school teacher in South Carolina and community advocate/activist. She is the VP of Repeal the Heritage Act, an organization that works to advocate for the removal of legislation that protects Confederate monuments in SC and raises awareness in communities and on campuses that have these symbols in places of esteem. She was born in New York but raised in SC, proud to call it home and is committed to creating a better state one classroom and one community at a time.
