Why should you get baptized? If you’ve given your life to Jesus, then baptism is the next step for you. Here’s why: Baptism is a powerful step that shows your life has been changed because of Jesus! Baptism is a public way of saying, “I believe in Jesus, and I’m committing my life to Him.” 

Baptism is a symbol of the new life that Jesus gives us. When you go down into the water, it represents leaving behind your old ways, and when you come up, it shows you’re raised into a new life with Jesus.

Through baptism, you’re also showing that you’re ready to receive the Holy Spirit—God’s Spirit who lives in us, helping us grow, giving us strength, and guiding us in faith. When you make the decision to be baptized, you’re choosing to open your heart to the power of the Holy Spirit, who will work in you and through you.

If you’ve accepted Jesus but haven’t been baptized yet, consider taking this step!.
