Why Teens Matter

This episode focuses on some positive and inspirational stories about teens in the news.  Dedicated to Gianna, whom we lost to suicide 3 years ago at the age of 16. #nationalsuicidepreventionweek

In this episode I share my personal experience of teenage sexual assault for the first time publicly. I do this because I want young people to know they are not alone, and to learn how and why they need to reach out for help. My hope for this episode is that some conversations are started in homes everywhere, conversations that I know personally have been needing to happen.
