  • 32 - The Mulling Season

Brendon and Ronnie are feeling the changing of the seasons. The two talk about the beauty of the sports landscape as the calendar turns over to October, and finish up with a small sample of other media (and beer) that evoke the season. Along the way, Brendon introduces a new NPR-inspired show-within-a-show, talks about decorating his house for Halloween, and recalls how he was present for a legendary night in CIF Football history. Meanwhile, Ronnie misses the low stakes at the beginning of a school year, reveals what he does every October 3rd, and somehow mixes up Sleepy Hollow with Rip Van Winkle. Oh, and Christopher Walken may or may not crash the pod.

  • 31 - Slam! Jam! Thank You, Ma'am! T.E.

Brendon and Ronnie continue to fill out the rosters and secrets for their hypothetical WNBA Jam arcade game. From Doris Burke to defunct teams to the "Shocking" history of the Dallas Wings -- they are packing it with everything! Included is a deep statistical battle between Lisa Leslie and Candace Parker, how a potential partnership within the Phoenix Mercury goes beyond the court, and the legend of Maya Moore. To finish up, the guys pitch their ideas for cheat codes and secret characters -- people like presidential candidates, or people who show up on money. And the stellar idea for a final boss that's out of this world.

  • 30 - Slam! Jam! Thank You, Ma'am!

Brendon and Ronnie are feeling the basketball jones with the NBA opening training camps and the WNBA heading into the playoffs. What a perfect time for the fellas to talk about their love for NBA Jam! From the history of making a billion dollars in its first year to unlocking secret players like then-First Lady Hillary Clinton, they give the arcade classic a full court press! Along the way, Brendon explains the "Schrempf Cocktail" and reveals tips for scouting during Little League Fall Ball. Ronnie misses Brandon Ingram being a Laker and remembers the most savage line from Street Fighter: The Movie. They both reveal their Mortal Kombat mains and pull off one of their best bait-and-switches to date.

  • 29 - Dissolve Divisions & Promote Relegation

Brendon and Ronnie talk about how the divisions in the NFL would have you believe that Indianapolis is in the South, Jacksonville and Miami aren't in the same state, and Dallas is along the East Coast . Maybe they should just dissolve them. Then, the fellas talk about how much better North American sports would be with a promotion/relegation system; and why it won't happen. Along the way, the two discuss the historically bad-bad White Sox season, introduce a new evening drinking tradition, and lament that MLB has robbed us all of doing arcane mathematics throughout the month of September.

  • 28 - Are You Ready For Some Football?

Brendon and Ronnie have been waiting all year for Sunday Night. (Insert the brass horns of FOX Sports here!) As the NFL season kicks off, the fellas talk about a number of teams in an effort to find a team for Ronnie to root for. In the second half, they ring in the first weekend by remembering many of their favorite flamboyant celebrations. Along the way, they reflect on the now-defunct Lancaster JetHawks, still hate that Deflategate was actually a thing, and show sympathy for fans of the Buffalo Bills. Brendon still laments the choices made in the 2005 Draft and Ronnie reveals why the Dallas Cowboys have always had a hole in the top of their stadium.

  • 27 - Bona Fide Uniforms & Fake Milks

Brendon and Ronnie put a cap on their Savannah Bananas talk by making a tier ranking of all the Bananaball team uniforms. In the second half, the fellas answer an important question: Which fake milk is best? Along the way, Brendon pitches not one but two genius ideas, and shares some of his recipes for dairy-free substitutes. Ronnie talks about the deals you can find near military bases and introduces everyone to an internet friend of his. Listen as they both remember former MLB pitcher Alex Torres, and his amazing helmet hat, and argue that oatmeal cookies are great for breakfast. (Because the oatmeal.) Oh, and horchata is awesome, but rice milk alone is the bane of existence.

  • 26 - Apples and Bananaball

Brendon and Ronnie are talking about the Savannah Bananas and their unique brand of baseball known as "Bananaball." They briefly talk through the history, report on their recent TV rights deal, and rundown the list of rules that make Bananaball so damn exciting. Along the way, they wonder how Charles Barkley would explain Bananaball, talk about Aaron Judge's recent homerun feat, and continue their dialogue of dislike for the intentional walk. Oh, and they both have opinions about Nomar Garciaparra's at-bat ritual.

  • 25 - Au Revoir, Olympics and Basketball Rêveries

Brendon and Ronnie aren't quite ready to sweat away their Olympic fever. In the first half, the guys talk about some of their favorite "Not Ready For Primetime" events. They go through the tension of Track Biking and how Race Walking races are long enough to become funny again. Then, they wrap up by drafting an All-Time Men's Basketball Dream Team from Olympic rosters past and present. Of course there's a Jordan versus Kobe moment, they free Tim Duncan from the "tainted" 2004 roster, and they *almost* forget one of the best players of all time. But who?

  • 24 - List of Fury: Top 25 MLB Players of the 21st Century

Brendon and Ronnie found a list on ESPN ranking the top 25 baseball players of the new century... What does that even mean? They talk through the list and their thoughts in an attempt to figure that out. During it all the fellas lament on how terrible the Intentional Walk is, remember the time Pedro Martinez threw Don Zimmer to the ground, talk about how much Adrian Beltre hates having his head touched, and somehow go from talking about Summer Olympic sports to reflecting on how disturbing the movie Deliverance is.

Ronnie defends Batman & Robin as actually being good, recalls The Mighty Ducks Saturday morning cartoon, and tells a classic memory of his father. They both lavish some love on character actor Noah Emmerich and end talking about one of the greatest video games of all time.
