The natural world is our big clue to who God is because it was made by Him, and the natural world tells us two very important things: that it is well designed and that we have a conscience. Both of these facts testify to a perfectly just, omniscient and moral creator. What this means is actually bad news, because all of us have made countless mistakes that will need to be reckoned. This is why the gospel of Jesus Christ is the Good News, and why one can know it is the truth even without the bible.
