W.S. Tkweme is Director of Graduate Studies in the University of Louisville Pan-African Studies Dept. He teaches courses on various aspeects of black music and post-World War II cultural and political initiatives. He has also served as the Pan-African Studies department's director of graduate studies since 2019.
