July is Disability Pride Month! I am so excited to have Tiffany Yu on the podcast today. Tiffany is the CEO and founder of "Diversability", which is an award-winning social enterprise that amplifies disabled voices. She's also the founder of the Awesome Foundation Disability Chapter, which is a monthly micro grant that has awarded $ 49.5 K dollars, to 50 disability projects in 8 different countries. She's also a fellow podcaster; she's the host of Tiffany & Yu. Currently Tiffany serves on the San Francisco mayor's disability council and was the 2020 co-chair of the World Economic Forum Sustainable Development Impact Summit. In addition to all of this, she's a public speaker. Make sure to also listen to her TEDx talks (she's done 3 of them), plus she's also spoke on five sessions of the World Economic Forum annual meeting. Tiffany has been featured in Marie Claire, the Guardian and Forbes, and for all of you TikTok lovers out there, including myself, she was named one of TikTok's, 15 Asian American Pacific Islander trailblazers. On TikTok, she posts amazing educational content, including her anti ableism daily, so go check her out on TikToK. I'm just super excited to hear her story learn more about her entrepreneurial journey, but also about her life living at the intersection of being an Asian-American, disabled, woman.
