Today we're sitting down to talk about The Crescent Hotel that was home to one Norman Baker, a man who thought himself a doctor.
Norman Baker was an inventor, a magician, and radio broadcaster. In the 1930's, Baker believed he found the cure for cancer and opened up his own hospital to treat those with cancer and minor illnesses.
Plus, there's ghost stories.
So, make yourself a drink and come hang out while Courtney tells the story of The Crescent Hotel.
We are back with another reading a bunch of Reddit stories!
Unfortunately, Courtney is by her lonesome, however the stories she has to tell are guaranteed to give you the spooks. The episode is all about people screaming in woods, ghosts hating on security guards, faeries that are tricky tricksters, and plenty more.
Make yourself a tea, get your comfy pants on and listen to some spooky stories.
Aaaaaaand we're back with another cult! Today we're talking about two petty criminals that convince a small village that they're prophets with the help of a prostitute.
Wild, right?
It gets worse.
Join us as we struggle to pronounce absolutely everything.
We laugh because we're uncomfortable.
We're in the double digits!
Today we sit down and read a bunch of Reddit stories.
This episode is all about Demons (?), ghosts handling rejection well, why not to go walking in the woods, why we don't join cults, and more!
Find somewhere comfy to sit as we tell you these tales while not being able to pronounce a damn thing.

Oh hey!
This week we sit down and talk about Anne Hamilton-Bryne, an Australian yoga teacher turned cult leader.
We'll tell you straight up, this woman was a monster and deserved way more then what she got.
So, find somewhere comfy to relax, get yourself a drink (preferably a strong scotch), come hang with us as we tell you all about Anne and her freaky arse cult.
Courtney decided to destroy our souls by throwing Westley Allan Dodd at us in our very first episode.
We broke this episode into three parts just to give us all time in-between to decompress. Because Westley is a lot and long before he took the lives of three young boys, he was a monster.
In this first episode, we'll dive into Westley's childhood and how the system let a guy like this fall through the cracks.
Recommended drink: fancy gin.
The book Courtney mentioned: Driven to Kill by Gary C. King.
We have re-edited this episode because now we know what we're doing (not really).
We're back!
For the time being. . .
In this episode we're coming at ya' with Martin Bryant, Australia's notorious mass-shooter. Martin Bryant went on a shooting spree in Port Arthur, Tasmania in 1996. We'll discuss Martin's upbringing, his mental health, and what led him to taking the lives of 35 people.
It is a wild ride friends.
Get yourself a cup of tea and listen to us not know how to pronounce shit.

Finally, the end to Westley Allan Dodd! We're happy to see him go. This episode we discuss Westley's trial and all the courtroom shenanigans that ensued. Guys, it's ridiculous what this weed (Erin's new name for Westley) got away with even when in prison. Dude was even on telly! He was writing pamphlets, calling radio stations--all whilst inside prison walls!
What we've learnt this episode: Westley doesn't stop talking.
Recommended drink: whiskey neat, friends. Just shot it back and pour another.
