We kicked off turkey season the right way down in SE Minnesota at the farm. Miles walked, boots worn out, and plenty of birds to keep us humble. Toms grouped up, birds playing games, and one of those weekends where you earn every opportunity. Long days, short nights, and even with Evan battling being sick, it was an absolute blast.

This year at camp we had the whole crew. Luke, Evan, Erik, and Sam all in camp together. Camp was unreal. Good people, plenty of laughs, and time in the woods doing what we love.

Big shoutout to Sam Melton on his first out of state bird and his first Minnesota bird. Could not have drawn it up any better and it made the whole weekend that much better.

A lot of close calls, some funny moments, and a whole lot of boot leather burned. Exactly how you want to start a season.

Solo episode this week just catching you up on life lately.

It’s been a busy couple weeks. Talked through Easter, welcoming my new niece into the world, and just how good it feels to finally be heading into spring. Feels like a reset in a lot of ways.

Turkey season is right around the corner here in Minnesota and I’m fired up. Going to be a fast start and a lot coming quick.
