It’s been quite a week.

If you’ve been online at all, you’ve witnessed the tsunami of Me Too’s flooding your social media feed.

Face to face with what we already Know to be True and also bellied up to the Darkness of our Feminine Predicament.

So many feelings to be felt, trauma to be processed, questions to be asked.

And of course, Me Too.

That time at church camp with the molesty camp counselor.

The time in 6th grade when I was standing as catcher in gym class and the male gym teacher and boys on the other team were standing behind me and someone grabbed my ass. I turned around to find ALL of them laughing. Including the teacher. Humiliated and captive with everyone in on the joke but me.

Again in 8th grade when I was cornered, alone in the school by the two brothers who were stars of the football team. Them aggressively chasing me and eventually pinning me up against the bleachers as they started to pull my shirt up. [Finally] saved by someone opening the hallway door so I could make my escape.

The supervisor at my college temp job. Me standing [again captive] on the production line while he made excuses to touch my legs and back all day long. Capping it off just before the whistle blew by abruptly licking the entire length of my arm. My friend and I running to the bathroom and scrubbing my arm while trying to figure out what to do. Who to tell. It was the highest paying job in the area and we were temp help on the weekend. There was no one around to intervene and we needed the money, so I never reported it.

And on and on and on and on…

Even without you saying so, I Know that it’s You Too.

It is All of Us.

No one escapes patriarchy unscathed.

Not even the men.

Not even the perpetrators.

This cancer is a malignancy that has festered for eons and its reach is far and wide.

It is daunting to find an entry point for unraveling it.

In our rage and dismay we may find ourselves turning on our fellow sisters for their over or under reporting.

Shaming and blaming our lovers and brother for their silence or complicity.

Tuning out or turning off because we simply lack the capacity to Be With this amount of Suffering.

Our clues for Inclusion are in the very name.

Me too, silent masculine.
Me too, perpetrator parts that don’t know how to take responsibility.
Me too, parts of myself that withheld validation of my experience.
Me too, victims.
Me too, numbness.
Me too, rage.
Me too.

I’m alone in my Temple.
Meditating and Praying.
Inviting Goddess to come closer.
That I might feel Her and sense Her.
Becoming still, I Listen to the whispers of her Presence.
In the midst of so much heartbreak and violence, I wonder how to expand my heart big enough to contain the pain.
In the loneliness of Witnessing the pain and destruction, I cry out for Mercy.
And she comes.
So Sweetly.
Loving me in ways that are beyond my comprehension.
Guiding me, showing me, holding me.
Gentleness and compassion - as always - her Calling card.

It’s hard to believe it has been a week since our last Wild Soul Medicine transmission.

Ten days since Lance and I initiated our separation.

It seems like eons ago and also just a moment or two that we began this phase of Becoming.

Time feels surreal when you are in the Dying.

Totally off script... I keep reaching for some advice or guidance on how to DO this thing.

What we should be thinking or saying. 

How we ought to be acting or feeling.

And I’m also clear that we are making up our own script here.

Doing it OUR way.

Listening carefully to the new language of the I and We.

Allowing the whispers of the In-formation of our own Needs to show us and teach us what is next.

Giving time and space to the long quiet parts of ourselves that are re-introducing themselves in the Void.

We aren’t only Dying either.

There is so much Life in the midst of what is falling away.

After almost two years of not even a job interview, Lance has had several hot prospects - one of which is a dream job scenario for him.

I couraged up and dove into my finances to find several thousand dollars a month in leaks that have now been addressed.

Some of the best conversations we’ve had with our children (ever) have occurred in this last week.

And I am getting glimpses of my Bigness.

How much of me I have dumbed down, hidden, and repressed in service of keeping the peace and not ruffling the feathers of my Beloveds.

I am noticing how a system (like a family or a relationship) has an intricately interwoven, infinitely complex set of energetics that are finely tuned to and highly responsive to shifts in any part of the system.

Watching how me Truly standing for my own needs is calling forth dormant parts in those around me.

It’s a lot to take in.

And I am very tender and tired.

I don’t desire to hold the whole space today.

I am learning some things that are worth sharing AND I would like some wisdom and counsel as well.

I know that we're all going through a lot right now.

Perhaps you have Medicine for me and I have Medicine for you?

Each of us Needing as much as we are Needed.

My latest round of Medicine with exchange continues.

Deepening in to refinements around misalignments, withholds, one-sided set ups, and blindspots -- I am being humbled by the beauty of this Teaching.

Last week on Wild Soul Medicine Radio we discussed Essence as Exchange.

An esoteric concept with practical applications for building a New Earth.

After the show, I continued to crunch around on this one.

I’ve had several more exchange conversations since then.

Some of them triggered wounding that was ready to show itself, and upon showing itself illuminated Awareness that opened and expanded my understanding of where adjustments needed to be made.

I am learning that when we Exchange as Essence, we must be willing to Show Ourselves at the deepest levels.

Each one a portal into Knowing ourselves more wholly.

We’ll use the portal of visibility, offerings, asks, and creations as our entry point for becoming more intimately acquainted with our own Souls.

“What’s it like to be you?”

Really like?

As our humanity evolves from a judgment/fear based one to a compassion/love based one, we are struggling to find a way to love and include it All.

Neo-Nazis, white supremacists, entrenched patriarchists, the uber privileged.

It is SO much easier to judge them than to love them.

And if we are going to try to love them, to do some from a distance (with a little “holier than thou” thrown in for good measure.)

Charles Eisenstein suggests that a foundational question in our move toward a Compassionate Society is to ask, What is it like to be you?

Not in a partial way, as in, “If I were you, I would do better.”

But in a Whole Way, as in, “If I were you, I would do exactly as you are doing. I want to understand All of It.”

This is a tall order and one we are certainly growing into.

And… there is a playing field where we can begin to try on our compassion muscles that doesn’t require us having to align with or collude with racists right off the bat.

A place where fully inhabiting another’s point of view not only expands our ability to love but immediately benefits our standard of living, and Re-sources us in a way that adds fuel to the Evolution of Humanity.

That playing field is Money.
