This week is a hometown special with two stories from Windsor, Ontario. First, Brett tells the story of Sr. Constable John Atkinson, who is the only member of the Windsor Police Service to be killed in the line of duty. We follow the chain of events leading up to John's tragic death on May 5, 2006 and subsequent legal trial and punishment phase for the murderer, Nikkolas Brennan. In part two, William takes us back to 1945-46, when Windsor had it's very own serial killer, "The Slasher". This week, Brett spins a yarn about one of Windsor's most infamous murder cases from 1966 (pick up sticks). In the 55 years since the crime, the victims of this heinous act have largely been forgotten. Mostly because the journey Mathew Charles Lamb endured after he was sentenced to the Oak Ridge Facility for the Criminally Insane is almost too strange to believe. Lamb's insane life starts in Windsor and makes pit stops in Kingston, St. Thomas and Penetanguishene before it comes to a dramatic end in Rhodesia. Buckle up, it's time to get wild, wicked and weird.

Since most of the celebrity guests are from the 90's, we decided to talk about a case from 1997 in the town of Emeryville. It's a truly bizarre story with an ending you won't believe! This week, Brett tells a story about the life and crimes of West End Gang member Melvin Mingo and how he pulled off the largest bank heist in Canadian history in 1984.
