Often in life, we get stuck wandering round looking for an answer in the wrong spot. In this talk Jarrod Hill, Wilderness Youth Pastor, points out two events in scripture where the Disciples and even Abram dealt with looking in the wrong direction.

We have all believed a lie at some point in our lives. Sometimes the lies we can believe keep us from loving, keep us from trusting, and can keep us for telling others the truth. In this talk Travis challenges that we don't have to believe the lie that we are unloved, but instead we can live in the truth that God loves us and paid the ultimate price for us. Once we accept that fact, we can live from a heart of gratitude and begin to evangelize through our actions, our words, and our invitations.

"Doing Church" can be hard and intimidating, but we weren't called to "do Church" we were called to be the church. In this talk Travis talks about how being engaged at Wilderness can start with a handshake and a donut, but it can lead to finding people to do life with and serve beside. Travis also lays out the different ways to get plugged in at Wilderness and how getting plugged in can set you up to be surrounded with like-minded people.

Doing anything worth doing is hard. Getting and staying involved in a church is hard. It’s hard because it’s worth doing.
