Rob's Poem to God (written in the morning)
O' Captain my Captain
My eyes are on You
I am Yes & Amen
Because You are Faithful and True
Rob's friend stood up on a chair at a New Year's Eve Party that night and said…
"O' Captain My Captain"
Verse Rob quoted in the Podcast.
"From this day on, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought of the day when the foundation of the Lord's temple was laid... From that day on, I will bless you." Haggai 2:18
Months after my, "It is finished" revelation, I came back to read the story of Haggai, the story we read the night before my encounter with God, the one that initiated the prophetic journey that followed. Months after I built an altar of rocks in my prayer closet and called my "It is Finished Revelation," I looked at the date on the card: 9-24-16.
"On the 24th day of the ninth month... from THAT DAY ON... I will bless you. WHY?
Because that was the day the foundation was laid.
What foundation?
"It is finished!" Now, I no longer build, but God builds ON THAT foundation.
