God made man in His image. Male and female He made them. The fall marred the image. Seeking justice is a never ending pursuit of restoring that image. Justice is giving people what they deserve. God is just, and He always acts justly.

Last week we talked about God’s special revelation to his people in the Bible. This week we look at the clearest revelation of God: Jesus Christ. What does it mean that Jesus is the Word of God?

This month we’re talking about how it is that God has made Himself known to his people. Last week we looked at His general revelation to all people. This week we’ll look at the first aspect of His Special Revelation; His Word inscribed. How has God progressively revealed Himself throughout time, and how does He today?

Paul prayed that the church in Ephesus would be given the Spirit of revelation in the knowledge of God. One of the most encouraging truths about God is that He has made Himself known to His creation. You and I can know the living creator of the universe. This month we’ll let that truth sink deep into our hearts in hopes that it will motivate us to pursue Him more and experience the riches of his power and mercy.
