In today’s episode, meet Zachary Hannay, a U.S. Navy Veteran, Petty Officer First Class, who served our nation with honor and courage for twelve years. 

Zachary talks about how his Christian faith has guided his life ever since he experienced the power of God during a mission in Africa. He’s a devoted husband, a father of four, and the proud owner of Safe Carts.

Recently, he became one of the newest beneficiaries of the Will of Iron Golf Foundation for Military Vets, receiving a brand-new set of golf clubs in late March. In early April, he joined the Chasing Birdies Par 3 Contest Masters Edition, where we also got to hear about his business ventures during the networking hour.

The kindest sons of Puerto Rico served honorably and courageously in the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force, respectively, for over twenty years and crossed paths after retirement during our golf outings. Rafy, Juan, and Joel received golf clubs and lessons from the foundation and have been playing golf almost weekly for over three years. "The Three Amigos" have forged a wonderful friendship, giving life to the power of golf as an empirical therapeutic for disabilities and PTSD after the military.

Will of Iron Golf Foundation for Military Vets – The Zellner Foundation for Military Vets: A Journey of Compassion and Empowerment

In episode #2, you will meet the woman who inspired our CEO and Founder, Xiomara Spadafora, to create our Birdies of Eagles Golf Program, exclusive for children of disabled and PTSD-diagnosed military veterans. This program is Xiomara's pride and love. Therefore, she led this interview while the regular host, Jeff Spadafora, went golfing. Hilda shared her experience in the U.S. Navy and how the lessons she learned during her service propelled her to create a home education space for nineteen children, including her own.
