On Saturday, January 19, hundreds gathered in the plaza in front of the state capital for Salem’s third annual “Womxns March.” Emcee Vanessa Nordyke greeted a large enthusiastic crowd, with four or five counter-protestors who tried preaching and singing without much impact on the crowd.

Michelle Jones, former university professor, discovered that university was not for everyone. So she created her own two-year college in Portland Oregon that helps young adults navigate life and find their passion. It's called the Wayfinding Academy.
