Beau Beaullieu, District 48 State Representative has fiscal responsibility on his mind. In this interview he talks about his legislation. He is passionate about his district, but he is persistent on getting the State of Louisiana in a more responsible place fiscally. If you want government to be fiscally responsible, Beau is on it.

While in Baton Rouge during the legislative session I get to meet many people working for different organizations getting involved in the legislative process. There are some I agree with and some I don't. And there are some that may be on your side one moment, but may be on another side on another issue. I say it this way because I think it is important that there are organizations out there that are looking out for people and groups that may not have the voice as an individual, but can find an organization that they may agree with at least most of the time. In this interview Daniel Erspamer with the Pelican Institute For Public Policy talks about what they are working on. In this interview I had the privilege to interview the Louisiana Commissioner of Insurance Jim Donelon. We get the opportunity to get to know him a little more as a person, his family, and his background before being Commissioner. But more importantly for the people of Louisiana, we get to hear some in depth information about the inner workings of how his office works with insurance companies, State regulations and policies, and with the legislators to create an environment in Louisiana to make insurance affordable and accessible. Jill Hines with Re-Open Louisiana talks about masks, pandemic shut-downs and .... well how we can get things reopened safely without fears.  We are in the Rotunda at Louisiana Capitol while recording the video of this interview which can be seen on my Facebook Page and YouTube Channel at "William Wallis For America."

I have said this more than a hundred times.  Non-profits are the best way to help people in our community.  They provide a more efficient way to raise money and help more people.  And the volunteers are more passionate, have more fun, and share a sense of comradery which helps the people that need them benefit from them more.  "Kajun Outcast Jeep Club" can be found on Facebook and their members do a lot for their community..... and others around them.  This podcast also talks about their event to raise money for autism and a school that specializes in it.

Gabe Firment, LA State Rep, district 22, has several bills but one in particular is to protect children from risky medical procedures ... Representative Firment does a much better job explaining it, but before that, as always, I let legislators tell about themselves, their districts, and give an update on things they think are important; so we get a chance to know them better. 

This Interview is with LA STATE REP Beryl Amedee, House district 51. She explains how her legislation this session will protect woman's sports, give woman more information about their choices, protect citizens from forced medical procedures, protect our rights, and improve care for our elderly in homes.
