What is the first thing that happens when there is a decolonial revolution? - The West Sues.
Right now western companies are suing newly properly independent nations for more than 1 billion dollars. Over a Quarter billion in burkina faso for context that is around 2% of Burkina Fasos whole GDP in just one case, just in damages.
I have found a new enemy that I’ve thought about for a long time, and I want to walk you all through 1 - the basics of it, what is isds and why is it bad. 2 - current implementations to add context and guide future action. 3 - my thoughts on actions that can be taken and aims that I will be going towards. And 4 - I want y’all’s thoughts, work with me here if you know better tell me email me DM me, because this is not something that is covered in the western media and yet it moves billions of dollars.
Anti-imperialism is at the center of many Western leftist politics (inshallah) but many of them do not understand the gears of the Empire they are claiming to fight - we must know the enemy better than they know themselves so that we can hit them exactly where it hurts, and this is my start, so please come along for the ride even if it gets a bit dull, I promise you you’ll learn something, and most importantly if we can actually pull this off cuz I think we can, we can be the gear instead of the oil in the Empires gears.
How do they sue - What is ISDS
This is often done for a process of investor State dispute resolution, which allows for a parallel judicial structure to the normal one, that has International consequences - the biggest of which obviously is the World Bank ICSID, International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes. Other people have done really good writeups on the series of issues with this exactly how itworks, so I’ll link them and not poorly summarize them
Basic terms -
Damages - what you get if you win a case (“you broke the contract pay me or fulfill the contract”)
Tribunal - Like a court, but special
The World Bank and IMF - largely Western institutions that structure International capital, famously the IMF will explicitly require policy reforms in exchange for its loans to historically Global South countries.
ISDS - investor State dispute settlement, the process by which private investors can claim against the foreign country for violating their property or contractual rights that are protected by a treaty.
Treaty - an agreement between two or more countries, in this context most of them are saying that if that country violates the property rights of investors, the other country will enforce those rights against the violating country.
What you need to know are few basic things -
1 - this is a corporation suing a sovereign country, and the enforcement mechanism is stealing that country’s resources that are outside of the country or trade barriers (tariffs, free trade exclusions, etc) being inflicted upon that country.
2 - it does not matter what the previous regime was, and significantly, even if a neo-colonial regime signed the treaty or agreement that is being litigated upon, the later governments are still Bound by that restriction and can be inflicted with the harms
3 - How this came about - most countries in order to enter the world economic system are required to join the World Bank, this was a long complex process that was largely driven through debt traps in the IMF. Importantly, an honest history of this would always conclude that the global South was coerced into joining these treaties.
4 - The consequences - because of this many countries have been forced to change public policy that infringes upon the private rights of Corporations, for example Environmental Protections that claim environmental reserves from Corporation, or even limit their ability to construct in certain ways. This effectively means that every country that is inflicting the damages,
5 - the hypocrisy - there is no parallel structure like this for human rights, there is no organization with this breadth that allows individual private citizens to claim against a country. effectively that places less than a position where if my property rights are violated by one of these countries that is beholden to ISDS, then I can actually get reparations by appropriating their property that is outside of the country but if they violate my human rights like my right to free speech or civil engagement etc, I may be able to litigate in a Regional Human Rights Court, but I will almost certainly not be able to get reparations in the same form (ie no fucking money)
Case Studies - The Freed Sahel States
The impotence for this article comes from AES https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alliance_of_Sahel_States - as well as what the west is racistly calling the “Junta Belt” from Chad to very recently Guinea - where African movements of various stripes are kicking out the widely French colonizers and reclaiming their resources and sovereignty. this has been faced with almost every form of colonial backlash that you can imagine from wide scale propaganda campaigns to at times physical skirmishes with the French Colonial troops - but underreported has been the litigation that could move millions of African dollars out of Africa into the pockets of Western corporations, and that is what I want to talk about. there are lots of examples and I’ll probably make videos on all of them, so let’s quickly list them out -
Guinea -
* ARB/25/56 Nimba Investment LLC and others (France) Republic of Guinea https://icsid.worldbank.org/cases/case-database/case-detail?CaseNo=ARB/25/56 - Filed on Dec 22
Mali -
* Société des Mines de Loulo S.A. (France) - - Filed on May 25 https://icsid.worldbank.org/cases/case-database/case-detail?CaseNo=ARB/25/2
Niger -
* https://icsid.worldbank.org/cases/case-database/case-detail?CaseNo=ARB/25/9 - French Government, Orano Mining SAS filed in March 5, 2025
* ARB/25/1 GoviEx Niger Holdings Ltd. and GoviEx Uranium Inc. (British Canadian and Australian)
Burkina Faso -
* ARB/24/51 Sarama Resources Ltd (Canadian British and Australian)
All of thees are resource based disputes, filed after the reclamation resources, all of which are being levied by Western or Western Allied countries. And Importantly, all the ones I have highlighted are pending - meaning they have yet to be decided and political pressure still matters for them. the goal and let me be clear here is to prevent money from leaving the pockets of Africans and going into the pockets of Western imperialists, if you disagree with that goal the rest of this article is not for you and I ain’t fucking debating it.
Whats to be Done - A Single Case study, Samara Resources
I’m not going to go into all of them even though I’ve probably spent way too long thinking and researching all of these specific issues, I want to highlight specifically Sarama Resources Ltd, which is suing Burkina Faso for access to Mining rights especially to gold that were attained contractually prior to the Reclamation of National control. They are suing for $242 million in Damages along with the rights to mine for gold in that area ie completion of the contract.
And I kind of want to walk through my thought process in targeting specific ones, especially so y’all can give your Insight. this company is pretty fucking small - their market capitalization (what all of their stock is worth in total) is about 20 million dollars give or take a few million. they only have two other major projects - and the investor class knows htis - https://investingnews.com/stocks/asx-srr/sarama-resources/
* Sarama Resources offers a compelling investment opportunity driven by a US$242 million, plus interest, fully-funded arbitration claim and two belt-scale gold projects encompassing 1,000 sq km of the Cosmo-Newbery and Jutson Rocks Greenstone Belts in Western Australia’s highly prolific Laverton Gold District, which lies within the wider world-renowned Eastern Goldfields region.
And so when targeting specific companies I think there are two modes of thought either you go with big companies that are easier to do consumer boycotts against (Inbev, Nestle etc) but you risk not being able to have a large enough effect for them to actually listen to you, but you can actually have the impact such that it is more profitable for them to drop the case then for them to continue. Or you go for smaller companies where you can have a larger proportional impact, but may be on effectively death ground where if they drop the case they just go bankrupt, and these might be harder to do consumer boycotts against ( though I have some ideas about how to get around that)
That said, I think Sarama Resources is pretty fucking strong because it is number one not worth very much and 2 - publicly traded. Following from that I went to look where their stocks were, because where the stocks are is where the pressure points are and I found a few things.

So very few people have super major holdings in this with the largest single holding being the CEO worth roughly half a million dollars. That’s fantastic, because it means that this is not worth that much to anyone so any type of pressure, focus, or backlash on any of them, if it exceeds the amount that they’re invested in it and the possible upside, can get them to leverage their stocks to give in to our demands because that is worth more to them than continuing whatever backlash. Let me give some simple examples of immediate actions.
Action Items On Samara Resources
The most online action I can immediately think of is go on Wall Street bets (the Reddit server that crashed GameStop a while ago) and see what they think, see if they want to short this stock and make them listen. I bet a bunch of bored white men looking for a good short (a stock postion betting that a stock will go down) are eager to engage in this
Here is the CEO talking about colonizing Burkina Faso, prior to being rightly kicked out
He lives in Australia and I bet that he has other Investments that could be boycotted too pressure him to sell off his shares.
I bet there are lots of Public funds that are invested in Mackenzie Precious Metals A fund that could threaten to sell their ETS on the condition very simply that they sell off the portion of that fund that is held in Sarama Resources, and the same goes for Multipartner Konwave Gold Equity B USD.
The second largest holder Jack (John) Hamilton - graduated from Queen’s University and an undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia. I wonder if statements condemning his actions and revoking alumni privileges might change his mind.
Paul Schmiede who owns a half a percent of the whole entire company has a public LinkedIn profile, and serves another company Culpeo Minerals logo which looks for copper in Chile, which I really think might not appreciate this bad press.
From checking to see if public funds like your local city council, pension fund, union fund, or university fund is invested for example in any of the gold equities that hold this stock, to engaging in your free speech right to call out individuals engaged in this neo-colonialism, to finding those that do have Sway and hold positions of public or private Trust and holding them to account for it there are a bunch of ways that we can use the Public’s influence to make it more profitable not to continue colonization and allow Africans to actually control their own resources than it is to continue stealing from them.
Where you come in and Conclusion-
This is where I need your help, and where we as a community have choices. we are stronger together and we are stronger when organized so I have a few requests - the most important is who can I talk to organizationally that is likely already working on this? I don’t think I’m unique I just haven’t found anyone doing this. are there pan-africanist organizations, diaspora communities, or even identity based activist groups that would be interested in protecting the sovereignty of an African country. This is especially helpful in this case if they are Australian or Canadian based, but frankly anyone that can do the research I really want to get in contact with.
Secondarily if any of the companies on the above list you have connections to or you know something that is helpful in actually levying boycotts or pressure campaigns against them please email me and if it is sensitive you can email my Proton email, though of course use ur fucking discretion - [email protected]
Finally, i want a fucking win, and if we can stop this case by Sarama Resources OR my second best guess the one that has already been paused for negotiations - GoviEx Niger Holdings - that would be fucking amazing we would literally pausing neocolonialism in its tracks, even if only in one case imagine instead of a random Australian company getting an additional profit of a quarter billion dollars that money was given to the people of Burkina Faso. so anyway you can help me win or you can connect with people to win or you actually want to build up connections and organizations to win this shit - please start organizing yourself start talking about this start moving on this this doesn’t have to be done by me and I don’t want to own this project, so if you are a content creator start talking about it that’s the first step, and if u have any sway anywhere, use it, and if you can do research reach out to content creators that might be interested share this article and share the research you at, because I swear we are searching for good content that can actually make a difference and in my mind this is a fucking jackpot.
Thanks for reading! This post is public so feel free to share it.

This guy came on a stream, starting out somewhat reasonable, only showing his “power level“ at the end. And I hesitate to post this, but I think it stands as a examples of how to speak to these people - do not validate thier ideas a equal, do not engage with them pretending they are good faith actors and do not pretend the conversation is a cordial debate. It is not, it is an opportunity to demonstrate effective rhetorical ways to undermine nazi and groyper ideology, and expose their talking points so they can be recognized.
This is best watched on youtube or listened to as a podcast, not on Spotify but on basically everything else, so give it is a listen or watch, and if u want more content like this, let me know! its always fun for me, and I hope helpful for yall.
Zionism is a form an anti-semitism, it has long been supported by vitriolic antisemites, and used to support anti-semitic aims. Anti-zionism has in fact been used as a dog whistle by neonazis for flagrant antisemitism. Both of these things are true and they don't undermine each other, but they paint a better picture of the systems of power that we are working with.
I don't want to write something in opposition to the Israeli propaganda I've spent two years undermining, we are all in agreement Israel misuses the term anti-Semitism to defend its ongoing genocide. We are all in agreement that Zionism by actively placing Jewish lives in danger, dismissing their belonging and equal citizenship in countries other than an ethnostate, and recreating systems of Oppression against the Palestinians is bigoted and anti-Semitic. And I am not terribly interested in convincing you that anti-semitism is a issue, even until the 1940s fewer than 50% of American’s believe that Jews should have equal citizenship. I just had a long debate with a groyer, he only mention they were at the very end, and I'll be releasing it soon, but that was the strong prompt for me to developed clearly why we cannot ally with them
So what I’m left with is this as always, a superstructure of addressing the relationship between anti-Semitism, the Zionist state, and anti-Zionist work. Specifically I want to point out cases that I see of anti-Semitism in the anti-zionist movement, and argue that taking anti-Semitism seriously benefits our cause not only by undermining Israeli propaganda but by allowing us to better model bigotry that people face today. I want to argue positively that we should not and cannot afford to ally with fascists of any type, because they do not want to end imperialism they want to bring it home. And as always, I have some additional thoughts that you'll just have to read on to find.
Antisemitism in the Antizionist Movement -
As a starting point I think a lot of (principled) leftists would gain a lot from watching some Neo-Nazi propaganda, only so that they can recognize when things they say edge incredibly close to that propaganda. Neither I, nor anyone with a life can walk you through every single Neo-Nazi dog whistle talking point and belief, they are losers with an infinite amount of time, but there are some general patterns that are easier to just show you than convince you exist, so first please if you have an edible, 12 hours of your life to waste, and a genuine interest in undermining Neo-Nazi propaganda, watch Europa the last battle. It's perhaps the least compelling but most cohesive Neo-Nazi film I've ever seen. That said, a breakdown some basic points.
Believing that Israel controls America is a recreation of a historical anti-Semitic mythos, that there is a cabal of Jews controlling the world. I want to break down that claim.
There are different forms of this claim and I want to ask you at which point you stop thinking it's anti-Semitic. First if they say “the world bankers especially the Rothschilds have blackmail on everyone and control all banking, forcing Christian politicians in America to support Israel” - is this anti-semitism? Yes, this is verbatim a line out of neo-nazis books. Ok what if we drop the Rothschilds bit, or replace it with Epstein as a Mossad agent - “Global Capital has blackmail on every single American politician who is a member of the Epstein class, Epstein working for the israelis push them to support Israel” - okay what if we replace Global Capital with AIPAC. Do you see where I am going? And I think people do this backwards often, where they would look at that final claim - “AIPAC has undue influence through a widespread system of power supported by the global Capital pushing American politicians to support Israel” - and start by looking for the truth in it rather than detecting the bad faith replacements in it.
And it was truth to it, AIPAC is a Lobby that should not exist and is lobbying American politicians unduly to support Israel, but what gets lost here between that truth and the claim is the system of power behind it - and once we start filling in those gaps of why do they have undue influence, why can't people stop them, and why do American politicians keep listening to them, people tend to regress oh well it's Global Capital oh well they have blackmail oh well it's the …….
And I'd like to suggest that that is because neo-nazis are louder online then principled leftists - that point of truth regarding AIPAC, when nuances added the neo-nazis can step in to add infinite level of nuance, because they have an infinite amount of time because they are fucking losers, whereas leftists have shit to do and don't have time to go through every single full theoretical explanation of why AIPAC is a particular avatar of capital in the particular way that it does. And importantly I don't want to spend my time arguing with neo-nazis but they are very pleased to spend their time arguing with me, so ultimately their ideas fill the room, and I want us to be cognizant of when they do.
This process happens in a lot of different ways, from referring to America as occupied by israel, rather than recognizing America in fact controls Israel, the execptionalization of israel in the context of American imperialism. And to be clear I don't think most people are acting out of a place of anti-Semitism I just think the very strong anti-Semitism lobby online is winning, I think neo-nazis are allowed and most people don't know what they're saying, and I beg antizionists that are coming from a leftist position to try to learn from neo-nazis to undermine them, rather than dismissing them out of frustration for how fucking annoying Zionist Liberals are.
Obviously I can't Point everything and I don't aim to, I've made a few videos doing so, but hopefully I've made a pretty basic Bare Bones argument for why I think this is an issue, the reason I think it happened, at a way to think about this process, I want to move to what is to be done about it, and why something should be.
Why Focus, Is not the Time -
There are two main responses I get from leftist when pointing this out, or I guess three barring the majority which is “yay yes anti-Semitism bad”, and those effectively go like this - 1 - now is not the time Jews are not being killed in Gaza, and anti-Semitism is not a structural issue in America in the way anti-black racism is 2 - anti-semitism is actually racism against Arabs, because Arabs are semites and Ashkenazi Jews are not. 1 is the more interesting one, and 2 is the more fucking stupid one. So I’ll address 2 First.
Arabs are the Real Semites, So Antisemitism is Actually Against them
Oxford Reference definition of Antisemitism - “Hostility towards and discrimination against Jewish people (although there are other Semitic peoples, notably the Arabs, anti‐Semitism is only used to refer to prejudice against Jewish people” - you are definitely wrong, though there is of course more historical context - anti-Semitism historically comes from race science regarding semetic people, over what you are correct Arabs were apart, but due to the historical context of the development of that race science Jews were the primary target of it and this is the race science that developed into modern-day eugenics, and nazi ideology. Absolutely nothing turns on whether Ashkenazi Jews are in fact descendant of “Semitic” people (they are but nothing turns on it because racists will think they are anyway). So this term was developed to attack Jewish people and whether you think the race scientist got their math correct or wrong doesn't matter, they think they got it right and that's what developed the language. The term was primarily developed in that context especially to replace Judenhass, a term that framed anti-semitism as a emotional feeling, instead of what the Nazis wanted it to be which was a scientific reality.
The goal when Claim 2 is made, is often a seemingly good faith misunderstanding of History, with the intention of redirecting the conversation to the more pressing immediate issue of anti-arab racism. But doing it in this way is 1 - dishonest 2 - reaffirms historical race science that we should not engage in 3 - neuters our ability to respond to genuine anti-Semitism which is a long-held historical tradition of the western world, and of course influences the way Zionism develops. - the slight addendum I would point to is that yes Arabs are victims of anti-semitism, but in a more abstract way than the people making this claim tend to make out, something ill expand on below.
Antisemitism Does not matter as Much Right Now
On that third point, i will move to Claim 1 (apologies for the numbers, I am a Law person afterall) - “now is not the time Jews do not face a similar structural oppression” - First I wanna say this is incorrect, rampant and vitriolic antisemitism does exist. But I don't even think that needs to be engaged with to form a really compelling argument that you should care about anti-Semitism regardless of what you think the scale of lived antisemitism is - because understanding anti-Semitism allows us to build an incredible helpful model for how bigotry in the modern world works. Very simply if you understand the models and caricatures and systems of Oppression that anti-Semitism fuel under the Nazis under Mussolini under even the American Regime, then you get a better understanding of the way that Arabs are talked about now.
For example, if you read how Jews were talked about historically by the Nazis, the focus was that they were from another place, they were Outsiders, and they had loyalty to that place. This is the dual loyalty trope (which by the way we see a lot when talking about dual citizens of Israel) something we explicitly see recreated when Congress people are talking about Muslims having higher loyalty to Islam. The consequent call for them to return to their country, and the verbatim calls by DHS for “remigration” are more than reminiscent of the verbatim usage of remigration by neo-nazis and historical Nazis regarding Jewish people. The concept of a secret well funded group of instigators causing all of the social upheaval, is matched perfectly with how these zionist Lobby talks about Qatar and Iran regarding campus protestors.
You should of course care about anti-semitism quo the victims of anti-semitism, but there is also a strong secondary argument that understanding this as a form of historical oppression that is deeply built into how Americans and Israelis perceive the world, will make you a better Ally in fighting anti-arab oppression. And if you don't want to do either you're doing no one any good.
Ok If its not the Jews, What is it? (imperilaism)
American Imperialism. That's what it is. America supports Israel not because there is some Secret cabal of Jewish people or Jewish Bankers controlling America, nor is there a secret plot of blackmailing American politicians into doing what they want, but it is just naturally in the interest of America to have an outpost in the Middle East. Henry Kissinger knew this and wrote about it extensively in his book Joe Biden also knew this and talked publicly about it. They do not need to be blackmailed into doing what they want because maintaining destabilization in the Middle East which has been their goal literally the whole time to extract resources and allow foreign Capital entry into it is literally the whole goal of the American Empire.
This approach accurately contextualizes almost every single claim that could be made regarding Israel's control of America, contextualizing why AIPAC get such outdo funding because it represents the communication between the ruling class of America and the political class. It explains why Israel is allowed to do offenses against the American Empire all the damn time, because they are a chaos actor not a footsoldier. So then occasionally acting chaotic even against the American Empire not only allows for American plausible deniability, but also is perfectly expected if their goal is chaos. Put very plainly the only claim that this doesn't survive is the claim that there is some massive blackmail scheme, but that's equally nonsensical because if this was only held together by a massive blackmail scheme, do you really think this is the only issue that there would be blackmail on? Really? This just becomes a chicken and egg situation with power and blackmail, and his entirely unexplanatory.
The Political Consequence -
The conclusion I want to drive home from this is that anti-Semitism and anti-zionism are not separate issues, but understanding one helps you understand the other. Further the foundation of Zionism is anti-Semitism, and to fully undermine it we must undermine anti-semitism, the necessary consequent of this is that aligning yourself with people that are not only unwilling to undermine anti-Semitism but are actively bringing it to the fore of political discussion *cough* groypers* cough* will never support your cause. They may literally act as pressure against Israel but they will always serve to recreate the systems of Oppression that not only created Israel but created Israel's all over the world (Taiwan, South Korea, North Vietnam, Saudi Arabia), and bring that violence home. Further they will simply be feckless in undermining the core issue, where if they focus on the jews as the problem, not only will oppression internally increase as that power grows, but they also maintained the actual issue with Israel which is that it is yet another Outpost of American imperialism.
Conclusion -
I feel this was a bit all over the place, but when is my writing not. So ill sum it up here, then watch the video bc ill probably do a better job explaining it there: Israel is an outpost of the American Empire, and every argument that people make for it being anything other than that (AIPAC Control, Epstien Blackmail, World Bankers) which just so happens to one to one match anti-semitic tropes, can be very well explained by this super structure. This Falls perfectly well in line with the leftist analysis of fascism, which is replacing class Consciousness and anti-imperial resentment with racial consciousness and racial resentment. And I'm just begging you not to fall for it, and in fact work extremely hard to understand it as a phenomena not only because if they bring a real consequences it has for Jewish people that actually live in it, but for the liberatory struggles that we all want to engage in. Because this is just another Faustian bargain, where we can trade class consciousness for racial resentment, But ultimately we will get nothing done
I have been hosting some debates, and thought yall on here might appreciate them, if you don’t, don't worry I'll still be making some long form articles and whatnot. This is the second part of my debate from December 3rd, this one specifically is on israel and zionism
I talked with a Zionist who had no clue what they were talking about, but I think it is a good helpful primer on almost every single hasbara talking point made in its weakest, and consequently most honest form. This is not a debate of equals, she ends up conceding that she does not actually know what she's talking about, so I think this is most helpful as a guide for how to engage with arguments like this from actively bad faith misinformed people - here is a timeline - also a reminder that you can listen to all of these always as podcasts uploaded on most every platform except for Spotify.

This is the first part of my debate from Dec 3, where an actual fellow leftist came up to have actually genuinely interesting discussions regarding sex work Liberation radical feminism and how that interplays into marxist feminism. It was actually really interesting, even though some of the things obviously in my opinion, that were said by her were offensive or harmful, though hopefully this can stand as an example of how to engage with these discussions, with the recognition that this much grace does not always have to be given and is certainly not owed.
So if you're interested in how to justify liberatory politics regarding sex work, and rejecting the preconditions of Radical Feminists eventual devolution into TERFism, give this a listen and hopefully some of those things can be deconstructed. - also a reminder that you can listen to all of these always as podcasts uploaded on most every platform except for Spotify. Listen to it on the way to work, listen in the shower, listen while sleeping. :)

My hometown of Charlotte North Carolina was invaded by Fascist Shock Troops this week, in a blitz that kidnapped over 300 people confirmed and brutalized violated and assaulted many more. I no longer live there, but my city gave a strong, effective fight against this repression, so I want to focus today on what I think is special and must be considered about the souths response to the current influx of fascist violence, why I think we got the response we did, what I think worked and what I think threatens what works. While concerned and ever-angered at the violence happening in my hometown, this is an ultimately optimistic, as this week was a major reminder of just how quick ICE melts in the south.

Charlotte showed America that the south is not out here to play, and what happens when people have no choice but to resist and have a long proud history of doing so. So do not contribute to the dismissal or victim blaming of the South, but learn from the people that have one of the longest and most brutal histories of State repression in America. The chauvinism of fascists, underestimating and dismissing the Revolutionary spirit in this area could be their fatal flaw, and the lessons we all have to learn from them can be a secret weapon. I am extremely proud of how communities I grew up around responded this week, while deeply aware that deep harm and damage was caused and much was done wrong, or ineffectively or counterproductively, in all cases I hope we learn the right lessons and they learn absolutely nothing.
Yet another evil little twink (derogatory) has entered the American Pantheon of right-wing villians, joining the ranks of Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, Mike Pence and Stephen Miller, Nick Fuentes has been accepted as not only an alternative to MAGA but a successor of it. So I want say some things about Fuentes how to deal with him and how not to deal with him, how to understand him and what people get wrong.

The New Right - Owens, Carlson and Fuentes
There is clearly a new right forming, and it is not just infighting but a clash of actual ideals. This runs along multiple fronts and oftentimes deeply personal disagreements (ref Candice Owens beefing because of Charlie) but there are some strong ideological lines that can be drawn. The most prominent of which is the relationship they all have with imperialism - and this is similarly a line that can be drawn between the new left and the establishment “Left”.
Historically Americans in the voting booth have never been able to vote on imperialism as both sides full-throatedly supported the slaughter of three to five million in Iran in Iraq, there was quite large bipartisan consensus on Vietnam and on Korea. The left and right Wings in American politics have always represented minor disagreements on domestic affairs but strong alignment on Foreign Affairs, and the opposition to both of them from either side has typically fallen along foreign affairs.
But if we go a little bit further back in history we will see a familiar phrase “America First” from the America First committee which was a coalition of people that did not want to intervene in World War 2, and as you can imagine the people at the helm were vitriolic antisemites and Nazi sympathizers, but this Coalition also included a comparatively small contingent of far left wing and antiWar activists. We saw a better and more representative example of anti-interventionist left wing activism during the Vietnam war.
This context is relevant not because it's a comment on America in World War II, we obviously should have intervened. I comment on this because there has always been this divide between establishment and non-establishment politics, and a very very similar divide can be seen here - with the pro-palestinian left and the Nick Fuentes right.
Both are rejecting the model of america as an empire, and I think the most significant distinctions between these two factions, what we might call left and right wing populism, are not in their stated policies of Foreign Affairs (though they do differ on those ref nick on Venezuela) but the reasons why they reject this model of American Empire and what their alternative is. I suggest the left is the anti imperial model, wanting to tear down the empire, ideology and all, and build something better, while the fascist model is the alter imperialism model, wanting to take the supremacist ideologies from imperial times and bring them to their logical conclusion.
America as a White nation Among Nations, Not a Hegamonic Empire -
A reactionary in an empire is different than one out of it and that is the difference i am trying to articulate. In an empire the goal of the reactionary (ben shapiro) is to justify the violence of the empire and its expansion, using things like nationalism, identiarianism, etc, (Israel as an outpost for Judeochristian values) while serving the aims of the empire (in americas case corporations) even at home, with regulation etc (Austerity). Empire is justified by supremacy, and propelled by profits. The American empire is falling though, so this model is being reworked
The Groypers model responds to this, and is not of white Imperial hegemony (as the british though of “Christianizing the natives“) but much more similar to Leibensraum, where the “superior” races have space and lots of it, but do not live amongst those that are not of the same race: Germany for Germans. This is fundamentally different than what an Empire is, and actually breeds solidarity amongst fascists. I note this in a series of videos, but the Israeli fascists that want a Jewish Israel have a lot of solidarity with Indian fascists that want a Hindu India, or South African fascists that want a white South Africa. Sure in their heart of hearts they think their individual race or ideology is best, but at the current time they just want their homeland. This is what is meant by America first, White America should be first in america. The goal is an ethnostate not the most powerful America possible.
Instead of being anti-imperial, you become alter imperialist. Not wanting to deconstruct (or maintain) the imperial system, but seeing it unraveling anyway and wanting whats left to be yours.
This clearly conflicts with Ben Shapiros telling of things, where his conception is clearly racist and bigoted but there is an extent to which he genuinely believes his bullshit about Western values and their supremacy. You will often hear him talk about judeo-christian values and how they are the foundation of literature or society, and use this to justify for example exercising power and control in non-western societies. The Forefront of his mind is how to build the best Society across the world and in his mind because of the supremacy of American and Western values (all in incredible air quotes) this justifies the most powerful International America as possible.
I'm not convinced I've explained this the best but I hope these two different and competing models, of an imperial hegemonic America and America as a nation among nations and importantly an ethno state, is at least a foundational helpful distinction when understanding these two ideologies. Further we see the outgrowths of these ideologies come into conflict, the obvious one here being Israel, but other examples like H1B Visas, or this discussion with charlie kirk and the australian white supremacist. white supremacists deep enough into this movement understand this, and it's important we don't write off genuine ideological distinctions in the right wing as mere incoherency or idiocy, and it's further important to not confuse SOME limited overlap between the anti-imperial views of the left (which I hope I don't need to elaborate too extensively on) and the alter imperial views of the far right.
With this basis set out, I want to set out some ways we address this ways to not think about this and action items.

A lot of the Groyers are Probably Kids -
From the onset I want you to on one hand properly react to the rise of very clear white supremacist fascism in America that is willing to openly rear its head and has openly received support from the president (from him repeating myths of white genocide in South Africa and Nigeria to welcoming Nick Fuentes to Mar-A-Lago) on the other hand I want you to win these people do engage with you online no that maybe 30 to 40% of them are below the age of 16. We know this because a bunch of Nazis have been caught being fucking children. That's all I want to say on this, children have a lot of time can make pretty funny memes and don't really believe what they say a perfect recruiting ground for Nazis who generally are Anonymous and don't care about morals, and are a good portion pedophiles. Next
No They are not CLOSE to class consciousness and NO they are not Stupid
No Nazis are not close to class Consciousness they have it and have misdirected it. And for the love of God please do not in your mind think that Nick Fuentes is stupid, he is not I don't suggest you go watch his stream because it's toxic little nasty fucking cancer, but if you do you will notice that he understands perfectly well the left Wings argument, he is actually quite willing to explain it to his audience, but what he offers is a alternative to that unfortunate conclusions of leftist analysis that make you feel better.
It sucks being poor in capitalism, and it really sucks knowing that things probably won't get better within the next 5 to 10 years, both of which in my mind are pretty clear analysis from actual material dialectics, and further even if the revolution does come the Utopia that we're working for is everyone being equal which to white men that have had their ego bruised doesn't actually sound that good. Further a fact of being in the Imperial core and being raised in a white supremacist Society is that you have to go through really hard work of deconstructing that white supremacy, that's hard that sucks, and mature people recognize that it will ultimately make everyone feel better, but once again immature little sad white men don't.
Socialism is Depressing, Rascism can give you Identity -
So you can come to the end of that analysis, come to the end of that logic, and not feel satisfied and Nick Fuentes offers the alternative: racial hatred. That feels fucking good, Supremacy is a fucking drug and I think anyone who is spoken to someone they think is dumber than them knows this. And this works especially well on comparatively well off white men, or at least white men that are primed to think they are doing okay, or will be (given the myth of the future millionare in america). Being better off economically along with everyone else doesn't sound that good, living in community of equals doesn't sound that good, but staying about where you are and knowing that you are better than everyone, and having some power over them, damn that sounds good.
This is where you are pushed from antiimperial leftism, to alter imperialism fascism, not princpled (as clear with his invasion of venuzala) but merely oriented to benefiting white americans as much as possible.
And that's the beauty of fascism, it takes the genuine marxist analysis of class Consciousness and class conflict but is able to take the gloves off and use the nasty weapons of racial, gender and ethnic hatred to mobilize and evangelize. The leaders pretty much know this and if you read the writings of fascist leaders (dont) it becomes pretty clear they do, but no matter how many times u tell that to a fascist that they are being manipulated that doesn't stop that manipulation from feeling so good.
That's wildly simplified and he also runs off different ideas, such pointing out the hypocrisy of being a republican nationalist while sending billions to Israel, or inherent contradictions in the Republicans being a corporate backed party and being against immigration which corporations generally support. But these are draw-in issues, they get clicks but to keep you there and to radicalize you he needs to hit something deeper and that's what racial class Consciousness does, some might call it national socialism.
How to Combat This and Where do we Go From Here
It doesn't feel good to hate a friend, and the solution to racial ethnic and gendered hatred has always been integration. But given we're on a time scale where we can't fundamentally address everyone's racial ethnic and gendered hatred, what do we do? Well we have to mobilize, and take care of the communities that want to take care of us.
I always end off on a note of saying find friends who can support you and support others, and so if you want maybe a fuller address of that go look at any of my last endings, but with this in particular the seed I want to plant is the idea that part of those communities can be people that used to be the people we might be mobilizing against, and this is what we talk about when we talk about restorative justice. This is not forgiving them for all of their choices, as their sins are not yours to forgive necessarily, but this is meeting someone where they're at giving them more grace than they are due and helping the fellow Community member a fellow human and a future comrade recover from the cancer of fascism.
This is not always possible this is genuine labor and it is often inequitably expected across classic marginalized lines, and this is not a call to ignore any of those things. It is though a call to just consider but if we don't engage in a form of restorative justice with those that we can and have energy and care and Community with to do so, we may be contributing to the carceral state that produced this cancer in the first place.

“Talk about Sudan and Congo” - The words hear round the leftist world. Here's my response - FUCK YES and I’m sorry.
I'm not going to focus on Hasan drama (mainly because doing so would undermine the severity of the concern for Sudan and Congo) and I'd rather focus on giving you the tools and reasons to effectively integrate discussion about Sudan and Congo into antiimperial work.
TLDR: both of these crises are being funded intentionally and profitably by American and Western corporate interests, including the UAE and Apple, who are interested in destabilizing the global South to enable further extraction of extraordinary material and human capital. This leads to them funding genocidal groups such as the RSF and M23 as they are the most effective chaos agents, and are closely aligned to Western allies, either Rwanda or the UAE. We must Center the material causes of this conflict, rather than fall for narratives that erase Western culpability or African autonomy.
So lets start.
Whats Going On?
Frankly, not an expert and you're going to learn more about the actual conflict if you go read the two Wikipedia pages. Both of these conflicts have gone on for more than a decade, have many belligerents all of which are imperfect. The focus for western leftists, so as to avoid justifying or providing justification for further imperialism should be the role of the western imperial powers and thier proxies in these conflicts. With that focus the targets are quite clear: The United Arab Emirates (and more generally the Western powers that fund and transact with them) and Western multinational corporations. Let me draw those threads very quickly:
Sudan - Gold, the RSF and the UAE
Sudan is perhaps the clearest, with the Rapid Support Forces being a internationally designated terrorist group (a word I and reticent to use derogatorily) that has a near formal relationship with the United Arab Emirates that is well known to be funding and arming it, as well as facilitating an extraordinarily profitable gold trade from Sudanese gold. The rapid support forces are the ones currently being accused of being the actual instruments of genocide in Sudan, as alleged by the official Sudanese government in an ICJ Filing.
This ICJ case was dismissed not on the merits, but on a technicality regarding the jurisdiction of the ICJ to even rule against the UAE on the genocide convention. Shortly, this is because jurisdiction (the ability for an international Court to rule against you, or even for u to be brought in front of them) is always voluntary at the time of signing the treaty and the UAE effectively didn't sign the part of the treaty that would give jurisdiction of the ICJ. This is fucking gross, should not be possible under international law but unfortunately is. This is significant because people will try to bring this up as a reason to believe that the Sudanese government was lying when accusing the rsf of genocide, but with literally any information on this it would be clear that that is not what it represents.
So in short an extraordinarily simplified and instrumentalized Narrative of this conflict can be that the United Arab Emirates is funding the RSF in Sudan who are committing a genocide against the non-Arab population in Sudan. The UAE is doing this primarily to facilitate a gold trade, because one of the primary exports of the United Arab Emirates is gold considering they have a “free zone” for gold. This free zone is famously where dirty gold goes to be melted down and made into anonymized bars of gold. It is money laundering, and it along with effective slavery is one of the primary Industries that built up the UAE.
Congo - Rwanda, M23 and Cobalt
The Congolese crisis is even more complicated and long, but the recent uptick and especially the genocide accusations are coming from the actions of the M23 militias. This is a primarily Rwandan funded militia group that has been incredibly accused of committing genocide in their effective annexation of Eastern DR Congo. A large part of this conflict is widely reported as ethnic violence stemming from long term ethnic conflicts following the Rwandan genocide and that is certainly significant but I don't think it should be the focus especially for Western leftists, because what is much more explanatory about why this is so uneven is because Rwanda has a close tie to the West that the Democratic Republic of the Congo does not.
The best example of this may well be the Rwanda scheme in the United Kingdom, which wanted to send rejected Asylum Seekers that were in the United Kingdom to Rwanda. I went to think about how crazy that is, the United Kingdom wanted to send immigrants to a place that is actively invading its neighbor and committing genocide. But it doesn't stop there both United Kingdom Weaponry as well as French and American Weaponry have been found in the arms of M23. And once again there is a more effective and cohesive write-up of this by Amnesty International so my intention is not to go in depth about it but I want to just connect some dots because it is true that Rwanda is more Western aligned than the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and there were lots of reasons for that, but one very well is that Western multinational corporations want to extract billions of dollars of minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and to Rwanda acting to the stabilize them is a very effective.
Specifically Apple has been taken to international court for using blood minerals from the DRC . And this accusation specifically tied to the Insurgent group's actions in eastern DRC to the blood minerals being used by Apple. Apple of course rejects these claims but why the fuck would we trust those Liars.
So putting this together, it seems quite clear that Western multinational corporations who we all know are the largest influence on Western Imperial interests, have they explicit interest in destabilizing and extracting from the Democratic Republic of the congo, and ethnic tensions and insurgents willing to escalate those ethnic tensions offer a perfect opportunity to do so. It is no wonder such escalations are happening, and that only more evidence is coming out that they are being funded by the western aligned power in the area.
What To Avoid and How -
Now that we have some background on this conflict and what to focus on it should be pretty clear that pushing this narrative as effectively as possible is the center when advocating, and then centering action items (boycotting the United Arab Emirates, connecting the boycott against Apple because of Palestine to the boycott against Apple because of Congo etc). But I want to preempt some tricks that the media will have - primarily centering it as a humanitarian conflict or civil war, and not as an outgrowth of American and Western imperialism.
I explained this better in my video but quite simply the media is extraordinarily interested in erasing both African and Western autonomy in this narrative, because they want to justify further intervention in this. This paradox leads to the appearance of this crisis as a completely amorphous blob of entirely unintelligible catastrophes, that we should not be bothered to even attempt to understand but rather as white Western saviors should long to solve. And I want you to watch the media for this because how many of them will mention the United Arab Emirates will be limited and how many of them will mention that America has a strong strategic arms and trade partnership with United Arab Emirates is even fewer. If anyone mentions that the UAE is a member of the Abraham Accords and recognizes and trades with Israel I will be astonished. This is on the side of erasing the intervention and external influence on this.
On the side of erasing African autonomy they will chalk this up to primarily ethnic conflicts that are a consequence of either long held ethnic differences or entirely unintelligible to the Western mind political distinctions. This is in some way true that ethnic and political distinctions matter in this conflict but they are not what is arming and funding the groups, those are very real economic incentives and aims, which must be focused on and undermined to effectively prevent further catastrophes.
The consequence of both of these is that we have a West that is totally innocent and can only do good or die trying, and we have a global south that is malicious and animalistic at worst and incompetent at best, leaving the natural solution for the West to do precisely what it wanted to anyway: intervene and condescend. This narrative supports the very structures that led to the crisis we are claiming to want to solve, but leads to the exact solution that the corporations want: Western intervention that will inevitably cause neoliberal reform, that allows further extraction.

Zomentum is fucking real, the memes, the charisma, the engagment and the policy are exciting! This is a genuine moment of political importance, and as with all other moments of political importance, leftists are here to remind you politicians will not save you, you save you. I am not here to crush hope, this is a genuinly hopeful moment, but I want us to be hopeful for the right things.
This election should be read as extraordinary excitement for Progressive politics and a rebuking of the Red Scare propaganda pushed into us for our whole lives, but it should not be read as the solution that will undermine American fascism or imperialism even if repeated consistently. I think the positives are obvious and if I was in New York I would be celebrating right now, so unfortunately I’m going to focus on the negatives, and specifically the case against social democracy.

Is Zohran a Social Democrat -
No, the man Zohran Mamdani is probably a socialist, and a quite principled one at that. But the politician Zohran Mamdani is certainly a Social Democrat. Social democracy takes the form of softening the harms of capitalism, without offering a revolutionary alternative, think New Deal Democrats or the Scandinavian Countrys. Socialism is the politics of the global working class. It would be great to live in a social democracy, but I don’t think anyone is thinking, and most tellingly the capitalist elite are not thinking, that the Norwegian model of economy is threatening to capitalism. And there is a reason for that.
Whats So Wrong with Social Democracy
In one sentence: it relies on and does not challenge global capitalism, and serves as a saftey valve for and bulwark against revolutionary energy. So lets break down exactly how it does that, taking Zohran’s proposals as examples: frozen rent, free buses and building affordable housing all paid for by taxing the millionares and billionares of NYC. These are objectively beneficial and necessary proposals, that will genuinely benefit the lives of New Yorkers. But they dont divorce the interests of the working class and the ruling class, or even put them at odds, but rather put them in a mildly unhappy but functional marriage.
The working class now relies on the funds of the billionaires and millionaires for free buses and cheaper rent and groceries. And the billionares get a local peoples that’s can at times be grateful for them and at least are less mad at them.
Now you may be thinking, ok surly its better for the working class to take more and more from the elites right until they have the means of production? Thats what socialism is all about right? Yes, but that’s how we end up with national socialism, in the most literal sense, we must remember the nature of industry in Empire.
A Schism Between the Working Class in the Empire and Outside it -
Social Democracy redistributes to the wrong working class: the vast majority of these Millionaires and billionaires are not making their money off of working class New Yorkers, but rather overwhelmingly industries that are extractive from the global South. The workers in the global South are unlikely to be able to make the lives of the Millionaires and billionaires that are stealing from them worse off, but the local working class can. Social democracy can function as a system to calm the anger of the local working class, and prevent their solidarity with the global working class by aligning their interests with the empires industries. holy shit a lot of buzz words, let me try again
Take an example of harsh neoliberal capitalism (everywhere in america where the working class is suffering) If I am a taxi driver in New York who is paying too much in rent, groceries, and buses I’m naturally going to be angry at Millionaires and billionaires who are taking my taxies, lets say who work for Barclays, and I am going to find I have a lot in common with the global worker that is being fucked over by Barclays, or the Palestinians dying from guns funded by Barclays (boycott barclays btw). Maybe I’ll cuss him out when he takes my taxi, maybe my union will boycott Barclays.
Now lets magic in some social democracy. My rent is lower, my groceries are cheaper and my buses are free, all of which is paid for by the elites that happen to live in this city. Am I going to be as angry at them? maybe but certainly not MORE angry. Am I going to boycott them? no that directly affects my lifestyle.
Thanks for reading! This post is public so feel free to share it.
Putting it Together -
Do you see the trick now? At the end of the day social democracy will make you trade your class solidarity for national or regional solidarity, even if you feel connected to the working class nationally or regionally.
And we see this exact thing happen. Norway has one of the best social mobility scores in the developed world, extraordinarily good social safety nets education and affordability (for some), and yet we do not see a burgeoning socialistic movement coming out of them. They did not effectively boycott against Imperial struggles in Palestine Sudan or Congo, nor have they divested to undermine global warming. This is because Norway’s social democracy is funded off the backs of the global working class, almost entirely funded off of thier Sovereign wealth fund which was built off of oil money. To hold solidarity with the Tongans being flooded off their island by Global warming caused by Norwegian Oil, Norwegians would have to materially worsen their lives and the ideology of social democracy helps them avoid doing so, by focusing on solidarity of the working class within the nation.
The elites are somewhat obvious about this issue, they recognize the most effective threat they can levy: to leave. They recognize the fatal flaw in the system being that it relies on their money and does not remove their power. It does not change the labor relation, it softens it.
Now they clearly are threatened by something about Mamdani, as is clear from literal billions in PAC money and corporate media being pushed against Mamdani, but I don’t think that’s because his ideas quo his ideas genuinely threatened their power but rather what he can represent and what I would call on y’all to take him as representing: a burgeoning working-class movement in America.
What is to be Done?
Take this as a symptom, not a cure. Just as the rising fascist movement is a response to the increasing intensity and harshness of global capitalism and imperialism social democracy will be as well. Both are responses by capital (moderated through workers at times) to maintain the system but either calm the consequences (FDR) or shift blame and attention (Mussolini). Social democracy is doomed to fail the working class of the global South, and insofar as it does not undermine the capitalistic system made to destroy it, it will likely fail the working class even of the empire.
Zohran’s campaign is a flagrant rejection of Fascism yes and that should be taken with excitement, but we must take that joy and excitement and push it into a mroe radical, genuinely threatening movement, that need to not be a nationalistic or regional socialism, but global solidarity amongst the working class.
And the first step in that, just as the Black Panthers recognized, is not furthering reliance on the imperial system for food, transportaiton and living, but buildign alternative systems to provide those for eachother. Mutual Aid. It is not changing the Imperial laws to be kinder to those with some amount of voting power but limited economic power, but rather it is to have as lasse an attitude towards the Imperial laws as the authoritarians do when “enforcing them”. Direct action.
This shit is hard, is often less flashy, but the joy of it is that it is consistently less disappointing and is genuinely fun, having effective and reliable community. So my call to action is repetitive, but more relevant than ever: if you got out to vote today or canvased or posted, reach out to the people you canvas with or that agreed with the post or went to vote with you, and see what they are doing everyday to fight fascism. Look locally at people and organizations you can rely on when the fascists come for you, and when the millionaires stop funding you. Lets build a system where every taxi driver can and will cuss out any CEO that dare enter their car, or better yet, one without CEO’s. Not one relying on their blood money.

A monthly reflection on the actions of the current regimine. I will start with fascism at home, and try to highlight how intersectional and multifaceted it is, touching on the strategies fascists use in cultural, political, and economic structures to build and maintain power, specifically focusing on the role that ICE plays in this system, as well as looking at the idea of the “too woke friend” and finishing on the general economic model. Then I will move to a brief overview of fascism’s effects and relationships abroad, looking at the clear intention for intervention in Venezuela, the crossover of Apartheid with American fascism, and finally the expansion of the Alliance Defending Freedom, a SPLC designated hate group, abroad.
