The Justin Trudeau blackface scandal has washed off. But Trudeau’s Liberal Party has lost ground to the further left minor party the New Democrats led by Jagmeet Singh. - Ep. 13 Our Self-Inflicted DroughtAustralia is in the grip of a major drought. Farmers are at breaking point, governments are desperately formulating responses. But the reality is this drought has been entirely self-inflicted due to government water policy and bureaucratic mismanagement in the 21st century. My guest on WilmsFront tonight is water consultant and third-generation irrigation farmer Ron Pike explains how this drought was created.Ron explains how the Federal Water Act of 2007 and the Murray Darling Basin Plan and statutory authorities took irrigation rights away from farmers. Since then water from the basin has been flushed out as part of environmental flows to sea to be wasted.Farmers have to pay more than 8 times now access water and are prosecuted for going over their allocations many have been forced from their farms that their families have provided Australia’s food for generations. The knock on effect for rural towns and business has been devastating.Ron has a written solution to fix this which politicians can use at any time if they are serious about preventing a rural revolt. The worst example was the Herald Sun alleging that far-right extremists attended. The only man on the ground was YouTuber and Proud Boy Ben Shand the Dusty Bogan who has published his on the ground interviews. The other populist choice for the Prize was teen climate activist Greta Thunberg.Her followers in the west continued their Rebellion Week disruptions, with the government of Queensland proposing new laws to stop their destructive behavior. The protests in Victoria cost the state government $3 million. Extinction Rebellion, with its blocking of peak-hour traffic, has alienated even more members of the public from its climate doomsday message.Australia’s Parliament today debated and rejected a Labor opposition motion to declare a climate emergency. Some eyebrows were raised about a group of Liberal MPs representing inner-city seats who joined a Parliamentary Friends of Climate Action Group.The results of the local elections in New Zealand are in, with some shake-ups in Wellington and Auckland returning the status quo. Jacinda Ardern even accidentally disowned her own mayoral candidate in the capital. Nationwide turnout was down to below 50%, with Auckland reaching an abysmal 35% participation with leftist Mayor Phil Goff re-elected.There have been two general-election polls this week that show Ardern could be in trouble next year. She’s back down to her pre-March level of popularity while the leader of the opposition, Simon Bridges, is holding steady. The polls didn’t show anything overly positive for any minor party, except perhaps that Winston Peters might hang on next year. The ACT Party also recorded a slight increase in its vote.The Twitter mob was mad at Scott Morrison for downing a beer with the Fijian PM, the latest in its long list of lame outrages against him. The Chinese Communist flag flying at a police station in Box Hill in Melbourne has attracted two white nationalist protests.After a week of leftist activism, the 10th anniversary March for the Babies took place in Melbourne and the March for Life took place in Brisbane on Saturday afternoon. The regressive left has steamrolled its genocide against the unborn through both Australia and New Zealand in recent times.
