On Ask Win today (Tuesday, February 12, 2019), Best-Selling Author, Win C welcomes Sharon Lopez. Sharon have been writing most of her life. When Sharon started, Sharon was writing short stories and plays. In fifth grade, some classmates and Sharon put on a play that she wrote, and this further pushed her to pursue writing. When Sharon was in high school, Sharon took a creative writing course and this is when she started writing poetry. In 1993-94 Sharon wrote her first book. In 2014, Sharon published The World Inside Stephanie's Head and later that same year Sharon published Life Is Funny That Way which is the book that she wrote in 93-94. Since then, Sharon have published a few books, and Sharon plan to continue writing as long as she have stories to tell. Sharon is inspired by many things. Mr. Schwinden was the first person that encouraged Sharon’s creative side. It was in his class that Sharon performed one of the plays that she wrote. After turning in a few assignments, Sharon’s creative writing teacher, Mr. Hutchings told Sharon that she had talent as a writer. Sharon shared some of her other work with him, and he helped Sharon grow as a writer. In 2013 Sharon was at a dark point in her life. It was then that Sharon was introduced to the work of Jamie Campbell Bower. The things he said in interviews and in his tweets came at a time when Sharon desperately needed to hear that Sharon was good enough, to be true to herself, be proud of who Sharon is, and to like what she like. It was at this time that Sharon learned about Cassandra Clare and her amazing Shadow Hunter world and decided to follow her dream to become a published author.
