God, through Jesus, deals with Sin. Either now in our lives, or later in the resurrection judgment. Use this season of Lent as a chance to commit to Holiness.

When we limit Jesus to being king of only spiritual things, we reduce our opportunity to share him with the world around us. Remember that Jesus as King of all things and share that Good News with those who need it.

If we don’t understand what it means to say that Jesus is the son of God, then we won’t really understand what it means that we are daughters and sons of God.

Jesus isn’t always to be found in the most obvious or easiest places, but rather requires deliberate effort. Choose to search after Jesus in knowledge, in grace, and in sanctification

Faith in Jesus is not a set of ideas that we agree with; it’s a participation in a story; it's seeing Jesus as a real person who invites us to join him on a journey; and on that journey, we learn to see who God is more clearly, we learn to trust and depend upon God more deeply, and, with the Holy Spirit, not only guiding us but shaping us, sanctifying us, as we Journey we become more and more like Jesus, more and more like the people God intended us to be from the very beginning of creation.

Our attitude and posture toward others will directly impact our ability to hear and see what God is doing in the lives of those around us.It is extremely difficult to see what God is doing in other people’s lives when we aren’t being Christ-like

Wilderness is the place between two kingdoms; We are given the choice as to which kingdom and which king we will follow. So let's make up our minds about which kingdom to which we will belong.

Waiting for Christ’s appearance is an active task of living a life prepared

You can see the connection in all things (both good and bad) when you look through a lens of faith. Have hope even in the darkness when you cannot see the light and learn how to trust that there is a greater purpose for you there. Learn how to use that purpose in our pain and find the meaning behind all things.
