Kent Wamsley brings us a message that shows us the importance of seeing discipleship and continually growing in our faith as a critical aspect the Christian Life. Kent is a member of WNC, serving on the Board for several years. More recently Kent has said yes to a call to pastoral ministry and is in the beginning steps of pursuing that vocation. So this is more than a message for Kent. Its a testimony of God's goodness in his life.

Because we are in the body of Christ, and because Christ is in us, we are called and equipped to be reconciled, one to another.

The church is a community that has been created by Jesus that is intended to live and function together. The depth and blessing of Christian life comes from participation in this community.

A faith that stays in Jerusalem, that doesn’t confront kingdoms of the worlds is a faith that refuses to declare the good news that all nations and all people are invited to surrender their independence and power, then pledge their allegiance to Jesus Christ and Christ alone.

Following Jesus is not a life of moderation or balance. It’s a life of giving yourself entirely to a way of living based upon the love of God.

The more fully that you lean in and embrace the truth that God has first called you to participate in the community of the local church, the clearer that your part in the mission of God will become to you and to those around you.

Be Open to what God is doing so you can hear God calling you to take your next step.

We will change the world, not by forcing it to be what we want it to be, but by living the way Jesus taught us and faithfully enduring whatever comes with it.

“Be ready to share your faith so others know they are included in what God is doing.”

Rejecting the ways of the world in order to follow Jesus and live as a citizen of the Kingdom of God will make you stand out;
