As a church, and as individuals, we have to be careful not to see our mission as making ourselves great; we are not working on our own mission, but on the mission Jesus gave us

Its God’s love for us that motivates God’s work in the world.  We are transformed, not so that God can love us, but because God loves us.

Let us not get comfortable with our own situation and sin; rather repent and bear fruit.

Learn to hear the truth in love so that we can be people who speak the truth in love

Lent is a time of entering the wilderness. It’s a time of denying ourselves, depending upon God, and letting God’s Love shape us into who God wants us to be.

Our lives are filled with all kinds of voices and distractions competing for our attention and allegiance. To follow Jesus, we must listen to Jesus, and to listen to Jesus we must hear Jesus. Choose to make room for the voice of God in your life through prayer, bible reading, and participation in the community of faith.

Jesus is not telling us how we have to live to follow him. He’s teaching us how we get to live if we choose to follow him.

You can't keep what God wants you to give away.

If those around you do not understand what God is doing in you and through you, be encouraged, because Jesus is with you.

Be Filled with the Spirit so that you can fulfill the mission to which we’ve been called
