An Austin police officer is now jobless after using excessive force during an October 2017 arrest, according to media reports.

Robert Mathis and another officer were near Georgian Drive and Powell Lane on Austin's north side Oct. 6 when they spotted a known female prostitute talking with a potential john, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

The two officers approached the john's vehicle and let him off with a warning before confronting the prostitute, the newspaper reported.

A now-retired cop in Chicago sexually abused a woman inside a police station, department officials announced Thursday.

Michael Clifton, 59, was arrested Wednesday after an extensive investigation by the department’s Internal Affairs unit found that he sexually abused a 35-year-old woman while on-duty inside the Calumet District police station in September 2016, department officials said.

 A Florida man was arrested this weekend after fleeing a traffic stop, then later coming back to taunt officers and do doughnuts on his four-wheeler, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

Aaron Clark, 24, was charged with fleeing, attempting to elude and reckless driving after he ran away from a traffic stop Saturday night, deputies said.

Transgender student assaulted in parking garage at De Anza College

A De Anza College student is speaking out after being attacked on the Cupertino campus. The student is transgender and police are calling the incident a hate crime.

LGBT activists plan to protest outside a Texas court after learning that a man who killed a transgender woman by pushing her into the San Antonio river will not face trial. 

Mark Daniel Lewis, 20, is alleged to have killed Kenne McFadden by pushing her into the San Antonio River last year. McFadden, 26, was under the influence of alcohol and Lewis is accused of failing to help her, therefore causing the woman's death.

LGBT advocacy groups have responded with anger, and have highlighted that McFadden was at least the twelfth transgender person to be killed in the U.S. in 2017. Almost all of the victims were black women. Activists plan to march in front of Bexar County District Attorney’s office on March 13.

A white, 17-year-old Instagram star with more than one million followers who goes by “Woah Vicky” and has claimed in the past that she identifies as black was arrested over the weekend in Greensboro, N.C. for trespassing, resisting arrest and assInstagram Photoaulting a police officer by kicking him.

The teen, whose real name is Victoria Waldrip and who hails from Marietta, Ga., posted the whole incident on her Instagram account after the fact.

That included two videos and a mugshot.

Police initially responded to the Four Seasons Town Centre Mall after reports that shots were fired,  WFMY News 2 reported.

While that wasn’t actually the case, there was “disorderly” behavior at the mall. After being given “multiple opportunities to leave,” Waldrip was taken down and handcuffed, all of which was caught on video.

Waldrip, who hasInstagram Photo already been called a worse version of Rachel Dolezal and Danielle “Bhad Bhabie” Bregoli, posted her mugshot with the hashtag #freevicky.

In case you don’t recall, this is Danielle Bregoli and this is Rachel Dolezal.

This is interesting because it wasn’t too long ago that she posted a picture of herself in a prison jumpsuit as a joke.

Many have commented since her real life arrest that this was “foreshadowing.”

Waldrip sparked outrage in the past when she said she could say the n-word because she has black ancestry. She even tweeted a photo she said was proof of her ethnicity.

She’s also posted videos in which she’s claimed that she’s always known that she’s black.Waldrip was listed as white on her police report, the New York Post reported.
