Wings with Friends

One of my favorite interviews from the Oak City Comedy Festival cookout, Tara Brown and I talk clean comedy, being ourselves and being humble. All was right with the world after I spoke to Tara.

The hilarious Brian Granger sat down with me at the Oak City Comedy Festival Cookout. We talked wings, standup, and Brian's comedy journey. He also gives a nice toast to his friends in Phoenix Comedy. Special guest appearance by Carrie Granger.

Our Oak City Comedy Festival Industry Cookout minisodes continue with Caroline Smith. Caroline crushes it on stage, loves dark comedy and balances it all with being a junior in high school!

Recorded live at the 2019 Oak City Comedy Festival in Raleigh, NC. The Lucas Brothers share advice, talk gratitude and giving back. This minisode kicks off a collection of interviews done around the OCCF Industry Cookout. It was a great afternoon of friends, Uno, Spades, Magic, laughs and humidity.

Recorded LIVE at the 2019 San Diego Comedy Festival, comedians E.L. Smith and Kerri Gallagher join us on our live show. We enjoyed delicious wings prepared by The Comedy Palace with our audience! E.L. shared his favorite moments in comedy, Kerri shared her multiple run-in's with the law and both shared their picks for Dry Rub, Fry, or Smoke!

Guitarist Troy Meiss and I enjoyed delicious garlic parm wings from ATL Wings in Phoenix! Troy is a former member of the band Meat Puppets. He shares epic stories about working with and hanging out with all of my favorite 90’s bands and he performs his song, Aliens. Special guest appearance by Leigh Houck!

Stuart Preston from The Consciousness Podcast and I sat down at Sal's Gilbert Pizza. I had their delicious medium buffalo wings and Stuart watched me eat them- because he's a vegetarian. Stuart talked about his journey with psychedelics and consciousness and then he told me the scariest scorpion story I've ever heard. Special gust appearance by Sal and we remember Ian Preston.

In this very Upchurch episode, Tim and I enjoy delicious drumsticks confit from the new Arizona Wilderness in Downtown Phoenix! We talk about all the great food we enjoyed on Tim's most recent visit and try to figure out why none of us 6 siblings look alike.
