WINNERS FIND A WAY brings in an OLD interview, but one of the BEST! You're going to love this episode as Coach Trent welcomes a former business partner, Lee Eisenstadt of The Leading With Courage Academym to co-host this interview with none other than -- David Morehouse, the President of the Pittsburgh Penguins! David has recently retired from the NHL, but a Pittsburgh native that shares his love for both the people, and the city of Pittsburgh. His loyalty is infectious and it is wonderful to see folks full of pride and respect for their heritage.
David covers a ton of ground in this lengthy show and you will not want to miss his points:
What most people don't know is that I was recording this interview from my hotel room in Shanghai at 2am local time!! So if my speech is slurred it is NOT because I had been drinking, but that I may have been a little fatigued from the crazy time-zone changes! But I was wide awake once David got us laughing and telling his fabulous journey of leadership.
Enjoy this one and then pick up my new book where I feature some key excerpts from this interview: https://bit.ly/LWT-Book-Launch-Learning-Day
**a ticket to this event will get you a free signed copy of my book, plus the recordings of some of the best content you can imagine! For my author page, visit here: http://bit.ly/trentLWT
In this episode, I discuss two key tools to help you increase your impact and prioritize your time more effectively:
The Daily Impact Sheet - This is a 6-day schedule where I identify the top 5 most impactful tasks I can complete each day. I prioritize these tasks and schedule time to work on them, even before my other meetings and obligations. This ensures I'm focusing on the highest-leverage activities that drive results.
Time Auditing - I break down how I categorize my tasks into 4 quadrants based on whether I enjoy/am good at them. This helps me identify tasks I should delegate or eliminate, so I can focus my time on my strengths and highest-impact activities.
By using these tools, I'm able to maximize my productivity and contribution, both at work and in my personal life. I encourage you to try these methods to take control of your time and become an indispensable, high-impact team member.
