Today on Perry and Shawna Mornings, one of the pieces of the armor of God from Ephesians 6 is the shoes of peace.  With these shoes we can advance onto the battlefield unafraid, because we carry with us the good news that we are at peace with God through Jesus’ death and resurrection.   We can walk into battle armed with knowing that nothing can shake our place of favor with God through Jesus death and resurrection.  He is our peace!  Then in our battle against the principalities and power Satan will try to take us out by tempting us to sin, and by accusing us of our sins.  Our protection is the gospel.  The gospel is the armor.  Dr. Tim Keller gives us an assist here. 

Next Tim Keller unpackages several ways the enemy will try to cripple us with his accuations and how we can stand against those nuanced fiery darts.  Then if you’re tired of fighting, sick and tired of the spiritual battle and you just want to cry. Know that the Father loves you and is cheering you on. He has promised to never leave you or forsake you.  And the Son of God understands your every temptation and he has strength for you.  You’re not done.
