Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty is a show created by Godzilla writer Max Borenstein, and Ice Age 2 writer Jim Hecht. It’s based on the 2014 book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s written by Jeff Pearlman.
