Sometimes we fall so deeply into regret that we become delusional in how we start chasing dragon's because we believe there maybe a positivite out come, we think we see "light at the end of the tunnel" . At the begining of this song we are surrounded by regret, but within a few bars there is a new seeming progressive theme, so we quickly follow it in hope of a familiar "resolve" , but it suddenly breaks into fragments that are just shy of dischordant, we wander a few bars only to hear the "horns" of regret from the previous song "mock" us, we are still deep in regrets grasp. The theme again returns this time we can hear a promise of a Sus 4 Sus 2 resolve...but only the leadin notes are heard... no resolve in the progression.. each time ... the themes although bright never get far before the disarray hit and we heard the horns of regret again... finally we stagger into the same promise of resolve from before...but this time we keep hearing those two notes beating out a phrase between them...strongly implying our "resolve" is nigh..but no, they are even more strubborn about giving us what we can hear implied but will not sound. all the horns and discordence become more present... finally in the dark of light we heard those two notes that seem to promise a sus 4 sus 2 outcome...but...instead it beats us into the darkness.... as alll trample us down... discordence the law of the land... in the wake of our demise wait the basslihe that lead us into this chase.... in solo he dances on our grave ... working through his complex seqence, resolve and all... or did it... ??

As we move through life there are a myrid of constants( change, death, etc) of those, we often overlook Regret, and since we do not consider it to be an inevitability, we are doubly damned by it. As I have stated before, Good and Bad only have context in the present and the past, the future is yet to be determined in this context, so what may seem bad now.. may be good tomorrow... and vice versa. Regret is much like this, the main thing is to learn from it. This song is an echo chamber of "regretful" energy it was created in it entirety(the song, not the energy... that took years to built) last night but I made sure that that energy was woven in... Regrets.. oh yeah.. I have those...

I used a variable over time clockwise round pan on the master track and the bass bus--that has three Modo Bass2 running over it--has a in "inner" autopan that is counter clockwise and is also on a varible over time automation contro. In addition Grossbeat is intermitantly injecting and altered the tempo a bit mostly head in the detune syncopated pads. "Regret" is the highest pitch heard, sora a rusty flute like whine that "wobbles" first heard at 1:02

Tips and Tricks: The opening "pad" that is alongisde the piano is using the fruity Convoluter with "piano pedal down" to hol;d the sustain pedal on the piano voice to to allow the tones to "stack" . The effect is varied over time using the automation controls. The later padlike background is using the new Image-line plug in; Luxiverb (think, phaser, chourus, convoluter crossed together)
