Coach Tyndall discusses why the Indians have sustained success over the four years and what makes the team good each season. He also talks about his time in the G-League, plus a look at the differences between the professional and college game. Chipola will be looking to replace top contributors in guard Joshua "Greedy" Williams, and forwards Jerald Colonel and Dontae Walker. Coach Tyndall gives listeners some names who could fill those positions for the 2024-25 season.

Today Phillip Jordan is previewing the 2024 Troy Trojans football team. The Trojans have a new head coach in Gerad Parker and there are many questions around the team. The offense still has talent, but the defense has a lot of spots to fill. Cottonwood High School head coach Dustin Harrison joins host Phillip Jordan to preview the 2024 Bears. Coach Harrison first talks about how the off-season has gone for CHS and looks back at the 2023 season. Last year, the Bears went 10-2 and 7-0 in 2A-Region 2. That was the first region championship for Cottonwood since 2010. He goes on to talk about this year's team by looking at the offense and defense. The team returns their entire backfield from last season, but will have some new faces on defense. The Bears have the talent to repeat as region champions.

This week on "The Wiregrass High School Football Report", Phillip Jordan is joined by Elba Tigers head coach Marc Sieving. The Tigers are coming off a 13-1 season that saw an undefeated regular season that ended in the state semifinals. Coach Sieving talks about what has Elba had going in the off-season and reflects back on the 2023 season. He then talks about how running back Alvin Henderson (Auburn 2025 commit) has handled the attention and how he has improved going into the season. Also a conversation on Cayden Atkins moving to quarterback, and his success as a linebacker. Other positions discussed is the wingback, offensive line, and secondary.

Rehobeth is going into their first year in 6A after being in 5A for several seasons. They are coming off a 6-4 season. Despite not making the playoffs in 2023, Rehobeth closed the season going 5-1 and winning their final two games. Coach Greene talks about how the team played late last season, off-season focus, new players on offense, the experience on defense, and the preparation for the season opener versus Ashford on August 23rd.

After the 2023 season former head coach Patrick Plott moved on to become an assistant for the Auburn High Tigers. The Eagles made a great hire by brining in Mellown. He comes from Andalusia where he was the offensive coordinator.
