Satan has a strategy for your defeat.  He will mislead you with false impressions.  He will entrap you with false allurements.  He will steal your faith, kill your hope and destroy your love. I am excited to tell you that this is the 90th  podcast of Wisdom from Above… and this 8th season is going to be a study of the book of Revelation. 

This book of Revelation is apocalyptic and predicts a future that is cataclysmic. The book of Revelation reveals the disappearance of the church, the mark of the beast, and the coming of Christ. The book of Revelation tells of a fiery Red Dragon inciting war in Heaven, a mortally wounded Antichrist coming back to life, and the False Prophet deceiving the world. The book of Revelation reveals a period of holocaust such as the world has never known; but it also predicts the power of Christ coming and the peace of Christ reigning. The book of Revelation predicts  a coming world in which there is no more sickness or sorrow, no more poverty or persecution, no more wickedness or war, no more disease or death! 

The book of Revelation is loaded with stunning predictions, and powerful promises, and practical applications. I couldn’t be more excited to dig into this book. Are you ready?

This is our final episode of the 7th season... which has been focusing on The Last Days. We have been digging into the Olivet Discourse in Matthew chapters 24 and 25. In this final parable, Jesus reveals the upcoming Judgment of the Sheep and Goats. At first glance it looks like the sheep are saved by their good works and the goats are cursed because they failed to do good works. Does this passage teach salvation by good works? That seems contradictory to all of the rest of Scripture. Join us as we investigate the true meaning of this parable and as we review the good news of the gospel. 

Jesus reveals the upcoming Judgment of the Sheep and Goats. What? Are animals going to be judged? No. This is a parable in which people are likened to either sheep or goats. The sheep will be commended. The goats will be condemned.

It is critical that we understand the timing of this judgment. In order to set the stage for this judgment, I am asking you to use your imagination and to place yourself in the future... experiencing the things Jesus predicts will happen. 

The most critical question for you to ask is this: Will I be left behind when the rapture takes place? The most important thing for you to know is this: God is offering eternal life as a free gift to all who place their faith in Jesus Christ... to all who believe Jesus died in their place and paid for their sins and was buried and then rose from the dead. 

A steward is a person who has been entrusted with he responsibility of managing the affairs of an owner. As believers in Jesus Christ, we are stewards of the opportunities, the abilities, and the resources that God has entrusted to us. The Bible says "It is required of stewards that one one found faithful." (1 Corinthians 4:1-2).

A parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. In this revelatory prophecy in Matthew chapters 24 and 25, Jesus shares the Parable of the Talents. This parable reveals how God determines what opportunities, the abilities, and resources He will entrust to each believer. It also reveals the options that lie before us as believers... to be faitfhul or unfaithful. It also reveals the ultimate reward or regret that we will experience. 

What will it be for you... commendation or condemnation, promotion or demotion, reward or regret?

Jesus' parable of the virgins is puzzling. It is difficult to determine just who the virgins represent. In order to understand this parable we will look closely at the Jewish wedding customs during the time of Christ.
