We are continuing our series P.A.U.S.E. In this episode, we explore the U of the Operational Pause which stands for Understanding. 

Broken down, the word Understanding has several meanings; extending or directly below, control managed, or govern by; undergoing a process.  And the word Standing is defined as maintaining an upright position. 

In this episode, not only do we also discover the full meaning of the word Understanding but its relationship to the position of the heart.

An Operational Pause is a military term meaning a tactical pause; a temporary halt in operations.  It's a process used to train soldiers in making difficult decisions that can have a major impact on the overall mission of the organization.

Spiritual boundaries are beneficial and should be clear boundaries that are set to govern the beliefs we hold and how we put those beliefs into practice.  Spiritual boundaries are how we protect the health of our relationship with God.

By not protecting ourselves from spiritual danger we're at risk because the health of our souls is at stake.

Spiritual boundaries are beneficial to our spiritual well-being. There should be clear boundaries to govern the beliefs we hold and how we put those beliefs into practice.  Spiritual boundaries are how we protect the health of our relationship with God.

However, we’re not socially distancing ourselves spiritually. We’re not protecting ourselves from spiritual danger by socially distancing ourselves from the foolishness of the world, which is even more important because the health of our souls is at stake.
