Proverbs 22:29 (KJV) Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. (other versions say unknown men)

There is that word again: diligent! There seems to be a common thread here. If you manage your business diligently and with skill, you will stand in the midst of influence and prominence. Diligence is key.

Prov. 10:4 it says “Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. – (NIV). The KJV, “He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”

This is not about a lazy person bringing poverty on himself by not wanting to work. Using their hands. This is about doing what’s right in the eyes of God, this is about “doing it right” rather than “good enough.”

That’s why I started with the quote..."Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t.”

Coach Dorothy and I both love all things entrepreneurship and small business. We believe it’s the best journey you could ever embark upon.

By definition, an entrepreneur is a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so. Entrepreneurs are commonly seen as an innovator, a source of new ideas, goods, services, and business/or procedures.

Entrepreneurs play a key role in any economy, using the skills and initiative necessary to anticipate needs and bringing good new ideas to market. In this episode, we explore several scriptures related to entrepreneurship.

As a Yielding Believer, instruction is necessary for you to steer your course rightly. Biblical instruction is meant to build up our fortitude and obedience in faith. It's meant to equip us with the power and authority that comes from total dependence on the Lord.

Prov 1:2-7 states:

2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; 4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. 5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: 6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. 7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

We all set out to be profitable in any endeavor that we take on, therefore understanding profit is essential. As we embrace our business as a ministry, we'll discover that profit is a divine result instead of a worldly concept of economic results. 2nd Tim 3:16-17

Four Phases of Being Fit as a Yielding Believer: 1)Instruction of Doctrine 2)Reproof & conviction of sin 3)Correction of error & discipline and obedience 4) Training & righteousness.

Letting go means freeing ourselves of some aspect of our past. At the age of 75, Abram was to leave all that was familiar and comfortable to him. And because of that, he didn't follow completely what God had instructed him to do and brought Lot with him.  In this episode, we discover two reasons why it's hard to let go. Gen 12:1-4, 13:7-13
