As Believers, we often find ourselves misplacing our values.  We underestimate the value of what we have been given and sell off the assets that appreciate in exchange for those that depreciate. Throughout the Bible, we find many references to sheep. Sheep were often used as sacrificial animals as well as a primary source of income in ancient Middle Eastern cultures. 

Although sheep were a major source of income in agricultural societies, shepherding sheep was one of the lowliest occupations. In fact, it was the wealthy landowners who sought out boys and men they felt were unqualified for the more respectable jobs for that of tending sheep.

In this episode, we discover how this ties into our relationship with God through Jesus Christ and helps us better understand ourselves in relation to our Good Shepherd. #LivingTheSheepLife

As Believers, we want to hear God’s voice when facing difficulty, making decisions, dealing with conflict!. We may say, God, would you just tell me which choice to make or which direction to go? Will you make this thing go away?  

God in His Sovereignty, spoke to Paul and answered with the solution He felt was necessary for him, which was the ability, strength, and grace to endure it.  In this episode, we lean into the topic of Solution or Sufficiency.

So far we discovered that sufficiency means to be adequate to the end proposed. Competent. Last time we were together we talked about the Sufficiency of Scripture, that it’s sufficient, adequate to equip us for every good work.  The Greek word for "sufficient" is arkei, which implies endurance, strength, or satisfaction. In this episode, we'll spend time talking about the Sufficiency of Grace.
