Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 10. I will then key in on verse 7 - The memory of the righteous is blessed, But the name of the wicked will rot. Friends, we are to live with righteousness at all times (to the best of our ability). If we do that, we will be remembered once we breathe or last on earth. On today's podcast I will be going over 8 scripture verses with the word peace as the focal point of these verses. Many people in our world today live their lives worrying, being anxious, being troubled, being depressed, or living with a fear of many things happening in their lives. I'm believing that today's scripture verses will give you peace, encourage you, and increase your faith.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 9. I will then key in on verses 7-9. These three verses talk about the difference you will receive if you give advice to a scoffer - compared to giving advice to someone who has wisdom. On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Gospel, according to Luke. Today we will be looking at verses 31-34 of Chapter 12, entitled Jesus Predicts Peter's Denial. Since this is such an important event in the history of the world, we will also look at this passage contained in Matthew's, as well as John's account of this event. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail.

2. I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep of the flock will be scattered.

3. A new commandment I give to you, that you also love one another, as I have loved you.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. Friends, my call to Action today is for you to ask this question - Do you avoid evil at all cost; Do you avoid being prideful and being arrogant; Are you careful about the words that come out of your mouth? On today's lesson we will continue our study of the Gospel, according to Luke. Today we will go over verses 24-30 of Chapter 22. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Now there was a dispute among them as to which of them should be considered the greatest.

2. Yet, I am among you as the One who serves.

3. And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me.

3. Assuredly, I say to you, one of you who eats with Me will betray Me.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 3. I will then key in on verses 7-10. These verses caution us to Fear the Lord, and to depart from evil. The next verse tells us that if we do those two things, it tells us we will be healthy (and probably live a long life). On today's podcast I will be going over a rather obscure book found near the very end of the Bible. It is a short one chapter epistle entitled Jude. Jude was a half-brother of our Lord Jesus, was raised in the same house with Him, witnessed His ministry while He was on earth, was around while He was crucified, and when He rose from the dead. Like many people during that time Jude did not truly believe that Jesus was the Messiah (the Son of God) until he was resurrected from the dead. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Christians are not called to passive service, but to vigilance in the cause of Christ.

2. The words of the apostles are important because they express the will of God.

3. We must build ourselves up in our most holy faith.

2. The Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.

On today's podcast I will begin by going over the three points I had brought up on Monday's podcast (Episode #889 - Luke, Chapter 21 (#4) - If you didn't get a chance to tune in to that podcast, I invite you to do so). I will then continue our study of the Gospel, according to Luke. Today we will be completing Chapter 21, going over verses 29-38. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.

2. When you see these things happening, know that the end is near.

3. We should live our lives as though Jesus' return is imminent.
