Have you ever really thought about the people in your circle? But, which circle? That inner circle? Two rings out?

The dreams you have may be directly impacted by the people around you. If you're being called to do something, be very aware of how the people around you impact whether you start or don't start that dream.

Let's jump into procrastination and who that's actually harming.

You're going to have to listen to this one.

Sometimes, you need to get your hands good and dirty, and get all the way down to the roots.

Today's that day.

There are times when we have all the equalizer of our life pushed all the way up. Sometimes it's unavoidable, but mostly, it's us doing too much and paying no mind to what the distortion is doing to us.

Let's take a step back and thin about that today.

Where are you holding back from looking ridiculous? Feeling afraid? Having fun?

When we were kids, we did anything we wanted to do, at least we thought we could; and then somewhere along the road all the doubt, fear, and lack of fun from everyone around us covered us like a wet blanket.

It's time to shake that crap off.

How many choices do you think we make in a day? A month? A year?

The choices we make, including how we choose to react and respond, makes the difference between moving forward and stagnating.

Buckle up, Friends, and get your pooper scooper... we're talking about the crap that lands in our path that we're convinced is sent to derail our dreams. I've got news for you... it's not there for the reason you think it's there.

"I See You." A phrase I came to loathe.

Until today. Why do we do the things we do? Why do we get stuck in patterns we aren't even aware we've placed ourselves in? Why do we think so little of the immense shadow work and mirror work and better choices we make that we can't even tell ourselves how proud we are of those decisions?

Let's dive into that for a few minutes...

You are NOT going to like what I'm about to say...

But you need to hear it.

I needed to hear it, and it became one of my favorite healing journey moments.

We live in a culture that glorifies past hurts, traumas, and papercuts, and encourages us to talk about it ad nauseum.

Know what it doesn't do?

It doesn't encourage us to heal it. I'm not talking about legitimate therapists here -- I'm talking about the current state of our culture, where being a victim is glorified as a badge of I don't even know what.

It's hurting us further. It's not making us stronger, nor is it preparing us for all the other things that are inevitably coming down the pike in our lives.

But I have a little exercise you can try that can put you in the right frame of mind, as well as an activity you can use, to drag yourself out of victim mode and into a place where you can see, feel, and heal your past hurts, and finally put them down.
