Wise Guy Talks Episode 76 “You Be The Judge”

The Hounds dive into the candidates, Betsy Price and Tim O’Hare, that are running for the Tarrant County Judge, race. Both candidates are popular conservatives, but WGT has looked deep into the bona fides of long time Ft Worth politician, Betsy Price and her record since 2011. WGT is very concerned that her actions and words speak very loudly as to her claim of being conservative. We looking out how blue Ft Worth has become since her terms in office. We look at the current balance of the 5 member County Commissioners Court and how control hangs by a thread. We look at the 3 (R) Candidates for that position, Betsy’s role as mayor and her decisions regarding the Black Lives Matter and her decision to drop prosecution of rioters, having her chief of police taking a knee at demonstrations, campaigning with controversial Southlake, Texas School Board member, Cheri Mills, setting up a Task Force on Race and Culture, appointing far left members to the “diverse” task force, the budget and finding of the task force, (over $3 million), the new Department of Diversity and Inclusion, appointment of a far left Chief Equity Officer, Christina Brooks, with far-reaching, unelected power and Pete Buttigieg acolyte..”Christina’s tenure moved South Bend far forward on matters of equity and inclusion.” How this New Democrat controlled department has control over municipal matters, business, civil rights enforcement, and how a woman is now defined. Next we go on to her massive expansion of government and redistricting task force, again, run by liberals chaired by another far left member, Lorraine Miller and who was appointed to the redistricting task force.

In part two, WGT talks you on a wild ride with US Border Patrol agent, Gary Brugman that was put in prison for supposed violations of a captured illegal alien that had been just captured on the Mexico, Texas border. Gary talks about his self-surrender to law enforcement, his trial, his appeal, his time in prison, his release, his pardon by President Donald Trump and where he is now.

In episode 1, "Pardon Me!" WGT interviews executive pardoned Border Patrol Agent, Gary Brugman. Officer Brugman was pardoned by Donald Trump in 2020. Many feel that Gary was the target of an over zealous prosecutor from the Bush administration.

• The boot that resulted in Civil Rights charges against Agent Brugman filed by illegal alien, Miguel Angel Jimenez Saldana (later confused with Miguel Angel Rodriguez Silva.)

• 2001, Brugman's weapon is taken by his superintendent, and his was put on camera duty. No details were given Brugman as to why other than the Border Patrol said the investigation was not coming from them.
• No representation from his union was ever given.
• Receives letter from US Attorney stating Brugman was the "target of an investigation."
• Self Surrenders in Del Rio, Texas on the charge of violation of 18 U.S.C. 242 "Depriving another of his constitution rights while acting under color of law." A Civil Rights Violation.
• Prosecution uses "Similar Acts" rule to submit late evidence into the trial.
• Can't find an attorney that will defend him. Uses Yellow Pages to find attorney. $5,000 retainer paid.

• 84 year old, Justice, William Wayne (1920–2009), Presiding. Changes venue to Austin, bad omen.
• The role of the Mexican consulate in the entire process. Bypasses normal channels, goes straight to Department of Justice and then the Office of the Inspector General.
• Was there a revenge motive against Agent Brugman for being a highly successful agent disrupting drug flow to America.
