June 11 is a day of historical significance for the fight for racial and voting justice in America. In 1963, it was George Wallace, JFK, and Medgar Evers. Today, we can contribute to the fight to vote. 

We have now entered the 2021 Summer of Democracy. It's going to be INTENSE. Three forces are going to collide: a push for voting rights legislation in Congress, the cult of Trump and his public return, and the deep injustices in race and voting in America. Last night in Texas, the Democrats in the state House blocked a horrible, truly horrible that would restrict the freedom to vote. The bill was as bad as ones in the 1910s, 1920s. Our work contributed to this outcome, and we must continue in strength.
