Inciting insurrection is the ultimate act of sedition against the American democracy. 16 months ago, the US House introduced Articles of Impeachment against Donald Trump. It's time to do it again.

An amazing thing has happened. Amazing and humbling, achieved through your hard work and faith and through the hard work, faith, and determination of voters in Georgia. These results show us the path to follow across the South and the nation. 

Today is the big day, but not the last day. The fight for voting rights goes on, day in, day out in order to preserve and expand our democracy.

We are living in a momentous moment when the simplified black and white claims by a flailing leader are revealed in all their true colorized details. 

The forces arrayed against our democracy take to Congress and to the streets beginning today.  But we have been here before. The history of Democracy is the history of standing up to the enslavers, the totalitarians, and their toadies and enablers. We are at a historical moment again.
