The Republicans in Michigan are burning down the house, the neighborhood, the state. Who is going to get burned in the conflagration? Republicans? Democrats? Citizens?

Democracy.

Republicans are slowly, slowly starting to step off the train to CrazyTown. They are taking their own sweet time, though, aren't they?

This may even give Democrats a chance in the Senate run-offs in Georgia.  Stay focused. Together, we are doing the work. 

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp was unhappy having to certify the Georgia results for Biden, so he made sure that everyone else knew it. Kemp is a serving elected official trying to delegitimize the results that didn't go his way.

Trump and his acolytes throw the political equivalent of a fit, but most Congressional Republicans go along, hoping to hold on to their power.  Democracy is in the balance, and we will stand strong for democracy.

On Tuesday, Republican members of a key Michigan Elections Board refused to certify the votes of Wayne County. When citizens heard about it, they rose up and got the decision reversed in short order. We must stand up daily for democracy, especially in this phase 3 of election season.

The day before Election Day, Barack Obama campaigned in Georgia. What his visit tells us is ALL GOOD. Let's keep our eyes on the Georgia prize. 

Elections are being certified by states this week. We have to keep the pressure on elected officials to be open and transparent. It's even easy. Join our Advocacy work!
