July 07, 2020Episode 42: Brilliant or BS?This week we play Brilliant or BS? by Black Creator Kimelia Weathers Smith. I’m glad I finally got this deck! Who doesn’t love trivia! Follow them on Instagram @brilliantorbs.⠀Short How To: Each player receives an A, B, C answer cards, and paper for someone to take score. The Judge starts off by reading the Trivia card and Answers (not revealing the correct one yet) to the other players. The other players will place their answer face down and plead their case as to why they would know the answer to the Judge. Judge will hand out a BS and Brilliant card as appropriate and the correct answer revealed. ⠀This game was super fun! It also reminded me how long it’s been since high school, but interesting nonetheless. We love trivia games and this can be played with the family. Even if you don’t know the answer, you have a chance to plead your case to trick the Judge. This can take place of your usual bar trivia night, too! Right now if you check out their website (listed down below) the virtual game up where you can play with others online!Interesed In This Weeks Game: Brilliant or BS? - www.brilliantorbs.comTo Check Us Out:Instagram www.instagram.com/cardswitheandrTwitter www.twitter.com/CardswithEandRYouTube @ CardswithE&REmail us @ [email protected]Support the show...more1h 10minPlay

June 23, 2020Episode 40: That's What She SaidThis week we play That’s What She Said! This game design is by Black Entrepreneur, Creative Director and Founder/CEO of Live Breathe Futbol, Ebun Olaloye. ⠀ ⠀Short How To: Each player draws 5 white phrase cards. The Judge chooses a card from the red set up stack and reads It aloud. Players then put in their funniest phrase card on the table, or we put it in a bowl since it was a small group. Judge shuffles cards reads the phrase cards and chooses the best one. The winner is now the Judge. ⠀⠀The game is similar to Cards Against Humanity but this game play is quicker and no political cards. So if you have new guests playing this would be a safe but still funny icebreaker game. There are a lot of adult innuendos, the game recommends ages 17+. June 16, 2020Episode 39: DebatableThe week we play Debatable! Who doesn't like a good debate, that could potentially turn into a straight up argument?Short How To: The Moderator picks a Topic and someone to debate against and for that topic. The Debaters then choose two Strategy Cards that will help drive their debate, but won't be revealed until the debate is over. Debaters get an Opening Statement then the two minute timer begins. There are not real turns so you have to get your point across as much as you can against your opponent. After two minutes are up, the Strategy Cards are revealed! The other players and Moderator gets to choose the winner. Winner of the round becomes the Moderator. This game was so fun to play! The topics range from super political to silly and do not disappoint. The Strategy Cards is a very hilarious element to the game. It suggests things like threatening black mail or bribery. You feel like a real politician. Definitely recommend this game for game night with friends or family.Interesed In This Weeks Game: Debatable - https://amzn.to/2MW1Zo5To Check Us Out:Instagram www.instagram.com/cardswitheandrTwitter www.twitter.com/CardswithEandRYouTube @ CardswithE&REmail us @ [email protected]Support the show...more52minPlay

Some of the questions ask about small details, like a t-shirt color from a viral video, so it's interesting to see how much we really pay attention in the world of information overload. We are definitely buying the physical pack so we can play at game night!Interesed In This Weeks Game: Trivillennial - https://linktr.ee/DSSGamesTo Check Us Out:Instagram www.instagram.com/cardswitheandrTwitter www.twitter.com/CardswithEandRYouTube @ CardswithE&REmail us @ [email protected]Support the show...more43minPlay

May 19, 2020Episode 36: Ashley vs AshleighThis weeks game is The Best Friend Game! How well do you know your friends? We put our Ashley vs Ashleigh knowledge to the test! We played it a little modified for our battle, but the inteded way is just as fun!Short How To Play: Split up into groups of two. Each team gets a green or blue board and pen. Someone draws a card from the deck and reads a question from the blue or green side. If question is from the blue side then the answer is about team blue, same with green. You want to get the same answer as your teammate to earn a point. This game has the feel of The Newlywed Game. The questions are interesting and definitely challenges the knowdegle of your friends. It was fun to match answers to our Ashley/Ashleigh. We did have some arguments, but when you play with a**holes like Rachel and me, it can't be helped.Interesed In This Weeks Game: The Best Friend Game: https://amzn.to/3cF8M0FTo Check Us Out:Instagram www.instagram.com/cardswitheandrTwitter www.twitter.com/CardswithEandRYouTube @ CardswithE&REmail us @ [email protected]Support the show...more39minPlay
May 12, 2020Episode 35: MIDNIGHT OUTBURSTSThis weeks game: MIDNIGHT OUTBURSTS! Short How To Play: Split into two teams. Choose a Team Captain that will keep score on the Viewer. There are also Pass Chips and Dice for Bonus Points, but since we are only four we kept it simple. Team Captain reads both Headline Hints on the front and back of card. The playing team chooses which Headline to play then Team Captain places card in Viewer and read the Topic. The playing team gets 45 seconds to yell out answers as correct answers are checked off by Team Captain on teh Viewer. Correct answers are tallied then it's the next teams turn!It has the feel of Family Feud, but raunchy! Gotta get comfortable with the dirty side of your mind. Very entertaining because it comes with a disclaimer that the game is not fair. You can only win by what is on the card, not what you think. You can hear us trying to argue for our answers, because we are a**holes and need to be right!Interesed In This Weeks Game: Midnight Outbursts: amzn.to/3cm70RDTo Check Us Out:YouTube @ CardswithE&RInstagram www.instagram.com/cardswitheandrTwitter www.twitter.com/CardswithEandREmail us @ [email protected]Support the show...more50minPlay
May 05, 2020Episode 34: Mouth of the SouthJoin our exciting game this week: HOT SEAT! Short How to Play: Each player will need an answer pad and pencil. Every player answers the question card and gets collected by the player in the Hot Seat. Hot Seat player then reads each answer, then other players try to guess which answer was written by the Hot Seat player. We really enjoy this game! Never ran into a boring card, or one that had to be passed over. We like to argue and give away our answer, but it's still fun. This is a great game if you have new people in the mix, since you don't really have to know each other personally. April 28, 2020Episode 33: Bitch Spray with Truth BombsFirst we talk shortly talk about our ghost stories. Finaly remembered to do something we said we were going to do in a past episode. Thank you Enoch for keeping me honest! Then join Rachel, Ashley, Theon and I for a round of Truth Bombs! Some questions are silly, others will definitely ignite a Truth Bomb. Quick How To Play: Each person puts their name on an answer sheet. Lay out one less question card than there are players, since you don't answer on your own sheet. Everyone's sheet is passed around the group as they write their truth bombs acording to the questions. The answer sheet should make its way back to you. You read aloud the answers and try to guess who said each Truth Bomb. We definitely recommend this for game night even though it can get a little heated! This spicy card game is not for those who can get sensitive, especially if playing with alcohol. Also, if you have a**holes, like Rachel and me, gotta be prepared for the Truth Bombs!
