Are those who do business on the Sabbath wicked are they breaking it? Are they polluting it? Profaning it? Are they hiding their eyes from the Lord's requirements? They don't realize that they have been set free from burdens are missing the rest that God has for them.

At last Jesus was at rest. The long day of shame and torture was ended. As the last rays of the setting Sun ushered in the sabbath, the son of God lay in quietude in Joseph's tomb. His work completed, his hands folded in peace, he rested through the sacred hours of the Sabbath day.

I'm wondering is Christ the sabbath? Is Christ our rest? I know he is our sanctification and redemption. There is no threat of human devising in the tapestry of salvation.

I could compare it to having a nap and your mother covering you with a little blanket and putting her hand on your back and singing to you as you go to sleep.
