With God At Dawn

Are those who do business on the Sabbath wicked are they breaking it? Are they polluting it? Profaning it? Are they hiding their eyes from the Lord's requirements? They don't realize that they have been set free from burdens are missing the rest that God has for them.

At last Jesus was at rest. The long day of shame and torture was ended. As the last rays of the setting Sun ushered in the sabbath, the son of God lay in quietude in Joseph's tomb. His work completed, his hands folded in peace, he rested through the sacred hours of the Sabbath day.

Last time we left our hero waiting to see the doctor a second time because he was trying to trick him with a new set of numbers. Chuckling

to myself I sat down in line of guests waiting to see the doctor.

I'm wondering is Christ the sabbath? Is Christ our rest? I know he is our sanctification and redemption. There is no threat of human devising in the tapestry of salvation.

There remains therefore, a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest he also has ceased from his own works as God did from his. For he spake in a certain place

of the seventh day on this wise, God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

He that believeth not God has made him a liar; because he believed it's not the record that God gave of his son. And this is the record that God has given to us eternal life, this life is in his son. He that has the son has life; he that has not the son of God has not life. 1st John 5: 10 through 12

Allow yourself to imagine lying on your face before the throne of god, a sense of warmth surrounds you like a soft blanket, you sense within your being his love and care and instructions. Isn't this just the best place to be in all the universe?

I could compare it to having a nap and your mother covering you with a little blanket and putting her hand on your back and singing to you as you go to sleep.

Prayer is the key in the hand of faith that unlocks heaven's storehouse.

While the judgment is going on in heaven, the Earth is desolate. A human graveyard exhibiting the complete footage of disobedience. This is Satan's realm. Held

fast by chains of circumstance, the fallen Prince and his cohorts survey their kingdom.
