Good parents, Jonas Salk once told me, give their children roots and wings. Roots to know where home is, wings to fly away and exercise what's been taught them.

We should be much in secret prayer we must commune with the Lord throughout the day and in the night.

God often gives us far more than we ever think of asking. Angels are sent to answer the prayers of God's people. Guys obedient children have their prayers answered. He sometimes gives them something different than what we ask for.
