With God At Dawn

A certain man, because of the uncertainties and confusion of the place in which he lived, found it in his heart to endeavor to reach a city that was famed for its peace and quiet. On inquiry, he found that the road thereto lay through the fields and forests of an enemy; but being adventurous, he nevertheless set forth on his journey.

God's name is really long we are told that it is merciful and gracious longsuffering and abundant in goodness and Truth forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin that's Exodus 34: 5-7.

Let the afflictions which penis so grievously because instructive lessons, teaching us to press forward toward the mark of the prize of our high calling in christ. Jesus said in the world you shall have tribulation but in me he shall have peace.

God tested Elijah's faith. What would happen if the rain did not come? He had killed all the prophets of Baal, he had poured out their water, they were watching and waiting as he prayed for the rain. His faith was being tested.

Confess your secret sins alone before your God. Acknowledge your heart wandering to him who knows perfectly how to treat your case. Be sincere in your dealings with God and your own soul. He will not misjudge you he will give you the victory.

Cornelius was told thy prayers and alms are come up for a memorial before God, in Acts 10:4. Prayer and almsgiving are closely linked together and are the expression of love to God and to our fellow men. They are the outworking of the two great principles of the Divine law.
