Deep within Ethiopia’s rugged wilderness, where ancient mountains guard secrets lost to time, lurks a creature spoken of in hushed whispers. Described as a massive, shadowy feline, this cryptid has haunted the highlands for centuries, terrifying explorers and evading scientific classification. Italian adventurer Orazio Antinori recorded one of the most chilling encounters with the beast, describing it as something between a lion and a leopard—yet unlike either. Was this a lost species of predator or something far more sinister, an entity moving between worlds?

In the summer of 1948, a peaceful farm outside Macomb, Illinois, became the site of one of the strangest fire outbreaks in history. Hundreds of blazes erupted out of nowhere, scorching walls, igniting furniture, and consuming entire buildings—all without any identifiable cause. Was this a case of pyrokinetic activity, an extreme emotional outburst manifesting in the physical world, or something even more sinister? Join Gary and GoldieAnn as they explore Within the Mist of Illinois for the truth of the eerie events of the Willey farm, the desperate search for answers, and the lingering doubts that leave this case unsolved to this day. Tune in and decide for yourself—was Wanet truly to blame, or did something paranormal stalk the farm that summer?
