As our adventurers begin to get to know each other, they attempt to assist their new acquaintance Tod in dealing with the loss of his friend. They head out of town into the nearby woods to handle the bandit problem once and for all.

Our adventurers all meet in the frozen northern town of Vulpes Hollow beckoned here by mysterious letters. Eager to warm themselves after a cold trek, they greet each other apprehensively in the local tavern but are soon called to arms as bandits raid the town.
