We preach all the time about the importance of sleep especially in a first responder family. Mostly our emphasis is on the first responder themselves getting enough adequate sleep after being away on shift. Regardless of the career you're in, parents of little ones can unanimously agree that sleep is the most precious commodity, especially in those early years. That's where our next guest comes in. Meghan Marchesani holds a Masters in Early Childhood Education, a Certified Pediatric sleep consultant, mama of 2 little ones, and a wife to a first responder.
January is Firefighter Cancer Awareness Month. We wanted to use this episode to recognize the efforts being made to keep our loved ones safe while on shift and at home. Our guest with us, is not only bringing awareness to firefighter cancer but her heart behind their mission is evident when you first meet her. Tara is the Founder & CEO of FLAME Natural Decon. She is the sister of a San Diego firefighter and a Navy Veteran herself.
We got a chance to chat with Morgan Weatherholtz a police wife, teacher turned stay at home mom and business owner. We talked about surviving the holidays with the unique and often challenging schedule as a first responder family.
Ever play 20 questions? This episode we asked each other "get to know you" questions. Even after knowing each other for 20 years some of the answers surprised us! Listen in to get to know us a little better.
